Really wanted to be able to use this.It is very bright and nice looking colors. App was very easy to set up and sync with my phone. However walked inside of my house (10 feet away ) and lost connection. I told my wife I could still use it in our bedroom when sleeping at night. I didn't think this would be an issue because my smoker is right outside my bedroom window (same floor). I stood by my window with the receiver just outside and I was unable to connect. If the blue tooth only works while outside nearby the smoker then I have no need for that because I can see the display from the receiver. I regret to say I will be returning this and continue my quest for a blue tooth device that I can use in my house.

I got this thermometer because I was planning on doing a Thanksgiving turkey on my smoker. I already had a single probed thermometer but wanted to have multiple going to know if one side was getting too hot. I ended up doing 2 15lbs turkeys with this, one was a dry run that turned into a friendsgiving and the other was the big day. I ended up putting probes into both breast and a drum and then my solo thermometer was just doing the temp of the smoker. Both birds came out fantastic, the probes where very accurate. I had a few downsides, I'm using the Android app is not the greatest and took a while to pair with the base and then the app wouldn't show the temp of one of the probes, if you looked at the base all the temps were accurate so it wasn't a big deal and when I did the second bird I didn't have the problem. The other problem I had was the batteries that come with it aren't the best, I'm sure it's because they've been sitting there for a while by the time it comes to you, either way the batteries that came with it lasted about 4 hours, I put some Duracells in there and they are on hour 12 without issue so buy some batteries! I think with an update to squash some bugs in the app and proper batteries this would be the perfect probe set, especially at that price point.

We finally had the opportunity to put the Smartro ST55 to the test with 4 briskets, 2 chickens and a rack of baby back ribs on the pit! Everything came packaged really nicely in a box with a magnetic closure, with each prong rolled up neatly. This makes storage nice and orderly. Using it was easy too. It is nice to be able to set the temp and hear a beep when it gets there. This made it no problems monitoring the internal temp and doneness of the meat. We tried to use the app too but never really had success. I added it to my phone and was able to sync to the thermometer, but that was about it. I'm pretty sure someone more tech savvy than me would have loved that feature but I didn't have the patience to actually use the app.

I think this is a genius product, having three separate transmitters for either three different types of meat or same meats of varying sized, allowing one to avoid either over-cooking or cross contamination during cooking. We always seem to have the issue of either babysitting chicken breasts while they cook, checking the smallest until it is done and then waiting and waiting on any larger cuts - now cooking is so much more efficient.

This SMARTRO Cooking Thermometer with Three probes is amazing. I bought this because I own the Smartro Meat Thermometer with a single probe and it worked so well I had to have the upgraded version.This Cooking Thermometer can connect via Bluetooth to an app and can give you any information you desire for cooking.This is a professional Cooking Thermometer at a low price.If you are serious about cooking meals, fish, veggies, pics, cakes almost anything, you should have this in your arsenal.It is affordable and performs like a tool you would normally pay hundreds of dollars for.I cannot recommend this enough, give it a try, you will not regret it.

I like this thermometer and the app functionality however the description and picture state that there are 3 temp probes included. My thermometer was not sealed and only came with 2 probes (orange and blue), which is annoying. I wish there was a way just get a third probe instead of returning the whole thing and getting a new one.Update: The seller contacted me quickly after finding out there was an issue with my purchase. They resolved the issue and actually rush-shipped me a completely new thermometer which contained all three probes to make up for the problem. This company's customer service is fantastic. And for that I am giving them 5 stars. Also to note I am still loving the functionality of the app and this thermometer.

Tech comes to the grillers and this product delivers. Very well made and the functions are intelligently thought out. The LEDs are big, intuitive and easy to read. The three probes can be used simultaneously with three different meats of locacted in three different areas on a larger cut. Overall very satisfied.

I used this thermometer on the grill. It worked great for monitoring my foods temperature from inside since it is cold out where I live right now. Very pleased!
