Well, we have been using these for a while and yes they are thinner, but the price is pretty good. We bought these for our Yorkie. The pads are much thinner than others that we have used before. Because of this, the liquid spreads a little more. The thicker pads absorbed the liquid and contained it in a smaller area. The pads are actually manufactured by Dynarex. We had previously use pads made by Kendall or Chux, but they did cost more per pad. Overall, we are satisfied with the pads.The trick is to make sure the dog knows which end goes over the pad. We also set the pads in 18" x 24" baking sheets that have a lip around the edge. That usually contains the spills. Found those at Smart and Final. Similar to Amazon's:  Amco Food Service Full Sheet Pan

We have 6 cats, and have used these pads under, in front of, and around our cat boxes for several years to prevent the accidents that can happen when you have a 'high-sprayer' and a Booda Dome cat box. They have never failed us. As long as we give the pad time to absorb the liquid, we can simply fold in the edges, pick it up, and toss it into the trash. The pads in front of the boxes even do a halfway decent job of catching the cat litter that gets trailed out of the box (as well as the occasional stink bomb dropped by our kitty, Sherman, who occasionally misses the box altogether, and hangs his bum outside of the opening in the dome.) All-in-all, these pads work wonderfully for our needs.I did NOT receive these pads at any kind of a discount; I have been paying full bloody price for them since 2009 and I *still* give them five stars! I highly recommend them for any cat owner who has litter box spillage issues!

My elderly cat sometimes hangs her butt too close to the edge in the litter tray to pee, and these pads work just fine at catching the urine that goes over the side, and containing it. While they are not as thick as some I purchased at PetCo, for the price they do a great job. If you are looking for something to contain a larger amount of urine than a tiny elderly cat's bladder holds, you may want to consider a thicker pad.

They are very absorbent. I use them in front of my cats litter box because my oldest kitty has a hard time due to arthritis and will miss his mark on occasion during the winter months when he is stuck inside. I was using the puppy pee pads you get at Walmart but I noticed they leaked.. And that was gross.. So I tried these because you just couldn't beat the price! I am very pleased and even though they are a bit smaller than what you get in the store you cans combine 2 and it still costs less than the store brand and measure out bigger when combined. And I have not had one leak yet. I would buy these again. But it'll take me a long long time to use 300 up

they oould be a little bit bigger these are for my cat and when he pees he steps in it and he gets his paws wet and he goes all over the house with wet paws

These pads are as thin as tissue paper. They are a total waste of money. They will not absorb anything to speak of they are so thin. The liquid runs off. I will not be ordering from this supplier again. I have used these type pads for 8 years and order several times a year and have never received such an inferior product. I wish I had my money back or replacement pads from the supplier.

I've purchased this brand for years. The quality changed for the worst recently. Noticed at least a 50% decrease in absorption and at least 2 bags had pads that would tear apart when I unfolded them. I was prompted to submit a review a few months ago which I did. I noticed that price increased shortly thereafter. I regret that I gave it a good review before I received my most recent order.

When I first opened the wee wee pads the first 2 or 3 packages I used fit perfectly as got to the bottom the wee wee pads did not fit and I had to use 2 pads to fit the wee wee mat.
