WILSON NFL Super Grip Composite Footballs

My friends and I like to be as active as possible during the warmer months, and the gym just isn't as fun. We've been playing pickup football games with cheap rubber footballs that are just too small for our liking. I finally gave in and purchased an NFL regulation size football from Wilson. I didn't think it was necessary to get a real leather game ball, so I settled for the composite material ball. What a world of difference it is from rubber footballs and cheap imitation footballs.PROSThe full-size NFL regulation football just feels better in my hands. It's easier to catch, throw, and kick with more accuracy, as opposed to the youth and junior sizes.The composite material grips great. I don't play with gloves, and even when my hands get sweaty, there's no significant amount of slip that I experience, either throwing or catching.I love the darker color scheme of this ball. The dark leather with the white laces makes the ball easier to see when it's mid-air. It also just looks more official.CONSThe only real con I can think of is that this ball easily shows scratches and damage. My ball landing on pavement, or getting kicked into trees shows a lot of wear and tear, and it's not quite a year old yet. That being said, it's all surface scratches, and nothing seems to be putting the ball in danger of actual damage.Overall, it's a great ball that holds up really well, grips really well, throws and kicks really well, and is the perfect size. It's also a fraction of the cost of an NFL game ball, but looks just as good. For the money, it's an excellent purchase for anyone looking to play some backyard football.

Perfect junior size ball. We won the flag football super bowl with this ball. It has great grip and holds the air. Its one of the best looking balls out there. And for the price, you cant beat it.

This football is the best rated for a reason. The materials are durable and high quality and feel great in the hands. Even though it's official sized, it's easy to grip and can be used by younger teens.

This was exactly what I expected. A super grippy football that we use all of the time. It has withheld the conditions and has been a great addition to the family.

Very happy we bought it. If I was to have any negative to say, it would be that when playing on concrete the ball scuffs easier than others we have owned. Still by far our favorite ball, and its pretty cheap.
