My daughter has a prefer side and on her 4 month appointment, her pediatrician said one side looked a little flat and told me to try to encourage her to sleep on her right side too. She mention the helmet. As a first time mom, I had no idea one side could get flat. I thought it was only the back of the head.Well, after searching I found this pillow and decided to give it a try! My daughter turned 5 months pn July 24th and her head looks nicely rounded now! I am so happy, I was getting so worried and couldn't sleep the first week her pediatrician told me about her flat side.

I never write reviews but I just had to for this. We've seriously only had this pillow for TWO days and I already see a difference in head shape! My three month old sleeps 7-9 hour stretches a night (big sister doesn't let her nap during the day) so she's been waking up with a flatter and flatter head every day..I was starting to think we were getting close to needing a helmet. The first night she slept 12 hours and I could really see a rounder definition after just those 12 hours! I bought this one bc it looks like it shapes better with the rock n plays and bouncers opposed to the other styles and shapes available. This one also has what appeared to be thinner sides so I didn't feel as nervous about a potential suffocation hazard. Seriously if you're concerned about baby's head shape, buy it!Update: Generally baby sleeps in a rock n play for bed due to severe reflux but last night I tried to use this in the crib and she immediately rolled off of it. If baby rolls onto their sides during sleep I'd definitely recommend one of the pillows with thicker sides! Though I still absolutely love this for the rock n play!

My grandson was diagnosed with Flat Head Syndrome.Was told he'd probably have to have surgery or wear a helmet !This pillow HELPED ! NO SUGERY OR HELMET NOW !

As much as I tried I could not prevent flat heads with my twins. We did lots of tummy time and I held them as much as I could but still they got flat heads :( I absolutely love these pillows! The fabric is soft the pillow is like a memory foam that isn’t too hard or too soft. Wish I had them from the beginning. Will be getting more for sure

This pillow is SUPER soft! My older kids (ages 1 & 5) try to steal it from my 7 week old all the time! And I don’t blame them! The fabric is extremely soft and wipes clean if she spits up on it. The memory foam inside is great too but it seems slightly thick at the shoulders/neck part for my newborn. She is average size but seems slightly uncomfortable when she lays on this for a long time so we use it for nap time during the day and let her lay flat at night because she won’t sleep longer than 30-45 minutes on it. I’m just assuming it’s because it is a little thick for her at times. I’m sure as she gets bigger it will be better, though. I love the color and the bear shape is adorable as well. It does seem to be helping keep her head nice and round since she HATES tummy time though so it is serving it’s purpose.

We’ve only been using this for less than a week and I already can see a difference in his head shape. Our physical therapist recommended the $118 Mimos pillow but it was out of stock so I ordered this one to get us by. Not sure I’ll even need the other now.Although no pillow is recommended for sleep, we do put this in our baby’s doc a tot where he sleeps all night. I feel comfortable with this decision because he cannot roll yet.It does have a strong smell like others have said but I wouldn’t describe it as “chemical”. It’s not pleasant but not terrible either.

This product worked amazing and I noticed a difference in my little one's headshape. I ended up laying a recieving blanket over the pillow and tucking it in the mattress because when I had her on the pillow directly I noticed a ton of hair shedding into it (I believe because of the fabric used). She ended up with a ring of rubbed off hair but now we don't have that problem since its covered. It was not enough of an issue to stop using it since it worked so well.

Baby is not here yet, but I am super impressed with this item upon receiving! It is great quality memory foam and will be perfect to put in the rock n play/bassinet. I always worried about flat head syndrome with my first, so I am excited for this purchase.

I bought this after 3 months. It is good quality and it definitely dose the job. Must have it from birth. she is 6 months old she want to move her head lot but i use while playing, in bouncer , mat, and when she is deep sleep. i noticed just one day using most of the day it helps 👍

I bought this for my son as his head started to become flat on one side. I thought it would help correct his head shape but he still seems to turn his head while laying on it. I don’t really trust him using it unattended so I don’t let him sleep on it over night.

Hard to clean... take a lot of time to dry, Isnt very breatable and without supervision Do Not ever let baby sleep unattended with this, it's thick memory phone and a huge risk of Asphyxia and a risk factor for SIDS.

This was a good pillow for the time we were able to use it. I felt like it did help with rounding my babys head a bit better where it was flat.I used it while he was sleeping and in his bouncy chair.It did pull a lot of his hair out as he moved his head side to side and it did get very discolored where his head was on it.There is no real way to clean it but we weren't able to use it for long before he was able to move himself off of it and it was ko longer safe to use.Overall its a good product and I would ise it again if I have another baby and experience head flattening.

This is a great product, I could see a noticeable difference in my babies head shape after just 6 weeks of use. My child was 7 months old when we started using it and she could move off of it but with a little creativity we made it work. Her crib is tilted to help her turn to the desired side and there is a crib soother on that side to keep her attention. We had debated going the helmet route and I’m so happy we didn’t, this is far less invasive!
