Light and smooth
When I used to think of green tea, it was always associated with the green tea bags that had a bitter taste. Something you'd drink because it is "good for you." However, this particular green is one that makes me an actual lover of green tea. It has a very light, smooth, crisp & clean taste. Sometimes I add a little honey, but usually not. It is very appropriately drinkable on an everyday basis and can be steeped several times (I usually do only 3-4 as I prefer my tea to taste stronger). Although I haven't tried it iced, I think it would be an excellent iced beverage, even with some added strawberries or lemon! This is one that I will keep in stock at all times.

Great Tea and Great Company!
I've done business with this company from their website and I was happy to see a presence on Amazon now. The tea itself is a great tasting unique green tea variation and a great value. I find the folks at MeiMei knowledgeable, helpful and overall just a pleasure to deal with. You can't go wrong here!

taste really good
A great floral and creamy green tea. It has very nice mild grassy flavor to it. So nice that you can steep it multiple times, which is unusual for green tea. I like it in the morning after breakfast or after lunch. Clean taste and refreshing. Can brew at higher temperature, I even tried at 190 and it still tastes lovely with no bitterness.

Below average green tea....
If you are only familiar with green tea bags, this tea might taste ok to you. But it is not a "first grade" or good quality Chinese tea. There is a good chance that this tea was stored improperly or finished improperly, as it has a very slightly musty taste to it. There is none of the fragrance and the "green" quality you would expect from a fine Chinese green tea. Furthermore, I notice the company does not say what year this tea was harvested. So I assume it was not this year, and in fact the tea tastes like it is has been stored, and is not from this year. Overall, I would say that I got fooled into thinking this was a current year spring tea, and it is not. Avoid! It is unreturnable!
