Added this to my sump pump system. Used heavy duty hose claps and bushings to complete the system and it has held up over 2 years.

Works as advertised, will monitor for long-term performance
Bought this as the discharge line for a makeshift sump pump (a 1/3 HP Superior).I didn't want the hassle of installing the "permanent" PVC piping, plus it's a lot easier to remove the pump for inspection if the line is flexible.Considering though that this product is made of soft polyethylene-like plastic, I did not have the full confidence in how well it will perform. After all, what good is a sump pump if the hose breaks, thus returning all the water back into the basement?With that in mind, I reinforced this hose by wrapping it with 1/2" overlap using a high-quality duct tape, spirally, along the entire length. Does not look as good as without the tape, but will give me a peace of mind.Also, used two hose clamps on each end for extra reliability.Looks reliable all in all.When I had to cut the hose, it wasn't so easy, even with a sharp utility knife, which gives me hope that it will last.

No river from the end discharge pipe.
Works exactly as I’d hoped! Needed something to lessen the pressure from the Pcv pipe from my sump pump and this did the trick. I have to check it after a heavy rain to ensure it’s still securely famished Into the pvc pipe but otherwise it’s great with no major trauma to the ground where it discharged.
