I love shower hoses and have been collecting them ever since I got let out of that funny holiday camp place.This is a good one , its long and super shiny and looks great hanging on the wall next to the other 754 I've collected.Must go now , I've got a bath running as I really hate showers - splish splosh !

When this arrived I thought it might be too long but I was wrong as it fits perfectly. It's well made and far better quality than the old broken one that it replaces. Nice stainless steel ends, too. For the reviewer who complained about his coming with plastic ends and not the stainless steel that he thought he was getting, you are supposed to take the plastic protectors off before fitting the hose. In your picture, you seem to have fitted the hose complete with the plastic protectors.Overall, very pleased with the product and its price.

I bought this for a bath shower tap attachment; the old hose had hardened and crimped to the point where it almost completely blocked the water flow even after descaling the shower head.I was not sure if this was the right item. The bath tap is technically a "shower", but I have had bad experiences with compatibility of plumbing supplies in the past. I need not have worried. All shower hoses, apparently including those on bath taps, appear to have the same standard 1/2 inch fitting at both ends. This fitted just fine. It also looks almost exactly the same as the old one.Next I was worried if it was "too cheap". Some of the reviews suggested that quality might be poor. That was not my experience. In fact I was surprised at how good it was. There were no obvious weak spots or badly machined parts. The only flaw in the kit I received was that the small rubber mounting ring around the bezel on the shower head end was broken, though this is hardly worth knocking a star off for. Anyway my bath tap has a telephone cradle style mounting, so this ring is not needed in my case.Everything you need is in the kit. You need two washers (one each end) and three were supplied. The kit even included a cute little reel with some thread locking tape (which I did not need nor use). There are instructions, but they are not really needed; fitting was trivially simple even to a complete amateur, and there have been no leaks so far.

The product description did not give details of hose diameter or operating pressure. I used this item on a normal first floor shower, gravity fed from a loft tank pressure with a head of eight feet. The water flow was too low to be acceptable, so I now have a useless item!The seller agreed that their were details missing from their description but did not offer to refund or replace the item.

We bought this as a replacement when the hose our MIRA mixer shower cracked. It was easy enough to fit but we noticed sraight away that the shower head no longer fitted tightly in the head holder/bracket but thought we could live with it as it wasn't the original hose. Within a few days, we also noticed that the shower pressure had decreased dramtically but we didn't immediately make the connection between the hose and the reduced water pressure. Thinking we had water pressure issues in the house , we got a plumber out who wasn't able to find any specific issues and advised that we replace the hose with one made by MIRA. Lo and behold, the pressure came back to what it was as soon as we replaced it with the proper MIRA hose! So, we are now £210 lighter, all because we bought a cheap hose; buy cheap buy twice as they say!

I had leeks springing from everywhere and more dribbled than a football match - luckily found this as Prime delivery.Having never changed one before, I didnt know if they were one size fits all.Dead easy to change (remember to put the washers in) I didnt initially as they had dropped out of the bag onto the dark carpet and I didnt see them and I was all leaky again, but once they were in place - its super.Works great - does as it should - very happy.

All fine except the end of it gave me a sharp, almost electric shock pain when I used it for the first time......turned out to be the end of the metal coil, tapering to and extremely sharp point which was not stuck down. I had to cut it off with some clippers to avoid potential injury to me or my children. So beware of that!

This is very good for the price. It is a standard bore size between 6 to 7mm. Our old one was a larger bore I think 11mm so it has reduced the pressure. I will be replacing with a larger bore hose to get higher pressure as we have a power shower but as a standard bore size hose it's brilliant, light weight and well constructed.
