t can be frustrating buying vitamins, since it is difficult to evaluate and compare various brands for effectiveness, and one rarely feels a cause and affect within an hour or two of taking the vitamin, so that there is a clear cause and effect. It seems that one simply takes vitamins over an extended period of time, and one must make a subjective judgement as to how any supplement contributes or affects one health, in context of everything else that they have been ingesting.With a headache, you can judge the effectiveness, as with anti-histamines, pain pills, and the like, but there is no immediate relief that can be judged by a vitamin. I have taken a wide array of vitamins and minerals in strong doses for an extended period of time, and not notice feeling any better. I can stop taking all vitamins and supplements, and can hardly tell any difference in how I feel. how can you really evaluate vitamins? I have read some recent studies that say that there are no objective results that prove the effectiveness of multivitamins, which I find hard to believe, but that is the crux of the problem.I finally discovered a consumer research service called ConsumerLab that evaluates the claims of vitamins and checks for valid claims, and the trustworthiness of ingredients, and then shows the least expensive quality product. What a find.Spoiler Alert: ConsumerLab rated Centrum Silver Multivitamins as being of high quality, and also being one of the top three values of multivitamins on the market. I'll have to go with their research, as I simply can't tell you how various vitamins compare based upon how vitamins make me feel.

No fooling, my 90-year old dad is healthy as a horse, takes these daily, and claims to feel terrific. Not sure there's a causation here, but I'll keep buying them for him anyhow.

Nephrologist says these have to many supplements in it I don't need but, I stopped taking them for about a year and took what he wanted to take and my energy level hit the floor. I'm Back!!!

Buying these at Amazon is the same unit price as buying generic multivitamins at Walmart. I'd rather buy Centrums, so this is a good deal.

I had not had what I would call good experiences with multi-vitamins, until I started using this product about four years ago.I was able to feel a difference in my overall well being after a few weeks. That is why I am still using Centrium.

The medical establishment seems to be hellbent on preaching that vitamin supplementation is useless for us and that all of our vitamins can be obtained from a balanced diet. It is targeted for people over 55 but anyone can take it without any side effects.The price is not the best but the subscribe and save option brings it down.

I'm 24 and I do NOT have a weak stomach, but this vitamin hurts my stomach/intestines. I thought I was becoming lactose intolerant but it was this vitamin.I've been crushing it and putting it in my morning smoothie and that has been helping so far. I will update this review if I become unable to take it even this way.
