BIGTREETECH 3D Printer Parts TFT35 V2.0 Touch Screen Display 3.5 Inch RepRap Smart Controller Panel Compatible with MKS GEN V1.4 Control Board

I got this to work with my SKR 1.3 for maybe 3 hours. I shut my printer off and when I turned it back on, a nice “no printer connected” message. I spent the better part of a weekend searching for info and suggestions and trying every different configuration I could come up with in Marlin. And that 3 hours was the only time this thing ever worked. Complete waste of money that has frustrated me to no end. As much as I want a TFT35 V3 because I love my MKS touchscreen, I’m not ready to throw more money away and this experience has ruined me with BigTreeTech touchscreens. If they reached out to me and worked with me, that might change things. But right now, I’m not at all happy with this purchase.

I returned mine because it has no firmware support at this time. Also does not have a filament sensor and resume like my TFT28. I think the newer versions of the 35 inch does but again no support to back that up. I use the TFT28 with the BigTreeTech SKR V1.3 and it works fine.

It stopped working after about a month

Be nice if it had some documentation or even links to documentation. Plus, it is unclear how to upgrade it's firmware.

Absolute junk display. Causes nothing but problems. They make good main boards, but all of their displays are junk.

Make sure you get the right one for your printer. it dose not work for enders 3

Stop Print does not halt print immediately. It takes a few seconds to stop. Emergency stop does same thing. Print does not halt immediately like the 12864 controller. This is a serious issue that needs to be corrected in the firmware. Otherwise the touch screen responds nicely. I don't see the 12864 mode on this display like on the TFT35 3.0. There is not button and knob.Update:There is a firmware update since I purchased display. The stop print issue appears to have been fixed. Changing to four stars.

Installed easy and I was able to use the alternate color icons from the repository at bigtree's github. Touch screen options are a lot better than that unpleasant knob.You can find a thingiverse file under "BIGTREETECH TFT35 V2.0 Ender 3 Case". The files printed well in pla. You will need to shave off some of the metal mounts but it will still mount both the stock and this screen.So it's Ender 3 Pro friendly and looks great.
