Bought for a 2+ year old. He loves stacking the blocks as high as he can reach, knocks them down and builds them up again! It never gets old! So glad I got them. May order another set.

Four stars rather than five because these blocks are not as advertised. They are the same thickness ad the Melissa and Doug blocks I bought a few years back, which was about the thinnest cardboard I had ever seen. They advertise that they will support 150 pounds. I seriously doubt it, since some of them bent while being assembled. They are also smaller by 3/8 inch both lengthwise and widthwise than the old ones.On a positive note, this toy brings out the very best of the engineering talent in two of my grandboys. At three and nine, there is a lot of disparity between their ideas. They play together for hours with these blocks. I tossed several of their old ones whick were either crushed or had holes in them and they still had enough extra to fuel their imaginations. A word of caution...these blocks are smaller than their counterparts, but they still work well together as long as you keep the same type on the horizontal levels as you build. As to whether they'll support 150 pounds, I seriously doubt it, but you can bet my 85 pound grandboy will test that theory. The boys love playing on these toys, and I love that the TV and Kindle are both off.

I've had it for years and it still holding up. I helped teach stacking and now that kiddo is older, it's used for roads, bridges, and more. A great buy.

It does take a little bit of time to put together. And do you need to be mindful about where to store it. Has brought many hours of building and creative thinking/problem-solving. I just wish they didn’t have a kid standing on the boxes gave my LO the idea and tried it on the smaller boxes which are sturdy but not really for +40lbs.Would definitely recommend us and purchase it as gifts.Check around for pricing because there are several brands that make this type of toy.

Assembled while granddaughter had her afternoon nap. Very sturdy cardboard blocks! Son in law stood on one to give it a try- held up well. The size is great for tiny hands to pick up and lightweight to carry. Baby will be one this week, she loves carrying them around and sharing with everyone. Other grandchild is coming this week, he is 16 months old. Am sure he will enjoy them as well.Would absolutely recommend these for kids. When not in use they can be unfolded and stored flat.

My 4 year old grandson really enjoys them. They are not as large as the picture indicates, but if you read the description you will know exactly what you are getting.

I bought a package of these for my four year old son to build with. He really loves them and stacks them up, climbs on them, tosses them, and builds with them. They are already showing some signs of wear and I've had to throw 2 away already (hence the 4 stars overall and on durability), but he's an active boy so that's expected. Overall, I'm very happy I bought these for him because he really loves them!

My 2y/o son loves them! Kept him busy for hours this afternoon. Great toys to have to expand their imagination. He made a “barn,” “house,” “pig pen” (for his dinosaurs). And right now, he’s building a very tall tower. His most favorite of all of this, is the demolition! I recommend this product for ANY child. They are even fun for us big kids (aka adults).
