ChromaCastAcoustic Guitar 6-Pocket Padded Gig Bag with Guitar Strap and Pick Sampler

I needed a case that would protect my guitar from bumps, scrapes and dings around the house and in the few trips I would take it outside the house. I did not need a bullet-proof, crash-tested, nuclear explosion resistant case. For about $20, this case is perfect.The exterior is a cordura nylon type material and the interior is a lighter-weight smooth nylon. The padding is not super thick (I'm guessing 1/4-inch), but clearly sufficient for my needs. Being a soft case, I would not ever use this to ship the guitar on a plane for instance, but for me carrying it around, the protection is adequate.It has plenty of pockets; some for sheet music, picks, tuner et al, and a long skinny one for a stand. The case has several handles and backpack straps. It fits my Yamaha dreadnought acoustic very well.Based on other reviews, the zippers are a much maligned part of this case and I was concerned about them. The case comes folded in the box from Amazon and I was worried that the cold (this was shipped during the 20F-below 0 days of December 2013) and the bending of the zipper could cause the zippers to fail. However, the zippers function perfectly and I have no issues. I will admit they are a generally lighter weight zipper than they could be and someone who is overly aggressive or abusive to a zipper could have problems - but they work smoothly, seem secure, and I have had no issues. The zippers are consistent with the rest of the case construction and do not appear out of place as being too cheap.Did I mention this case was only about $20?The included guitar strap is very lightweight almost worthless, but it's a nice thought. The variety-pack of picks (12) that ships with this case is great as there are various weights and materials to try out.Bottom line - this is a bargain at $20. $20! I am very pleased with the construction and function of the case. Highly recommended for those seeking simple inexpensive guitar protection.

We bought this as a gift for a young man who accompanied our daughter while she sang. He had no guitar case at all. This case is well made, sturdy, with nice pocket features. He loves it!

Received the bag today. I'm very impressed. A year ago I bought a much more expensive gig bag (almost $60) for a different guitar. Comparing the two, the design of this is as good as the more expensive bag. Pluses are the neck strap, and a good assortment of pockets. Not quite as nice is that the ChromaCast zipper does not open all the way to the opposite side at the bottom - so the bag does not open quite as wide. But that is no big deal. Padding is good, not quite as thick as the $60 bag, but plenty for loading the guitar in a car and taking it to gigs. Quality of materials is good also, not quite as good as the $60 bag, but very adequate.For sizing, this fits my acoustic with a 16.25" lower bout and a 4" depth. It fits a guitar with a bout approx 1/4" larger than the expensive bag.

Measurements are correct, per listing. This case fits my new Mitchell D120S12E 12-string acoustic.The good: Case feels like a sturdy, ballistic-type nylon. Zippers on case and pockets are chunky and feel strong. When closed, you can tell there is padding around guitar, but it doesn't feel terribly thick. I think it will be good enough to drive the guitar around from here to there, but if you bumped into a door frame, it might not be strong enough to withstand damage. That being said, it's a soft case and there are limitations to what a soft case can - and can't do. If you're accident-prone, maybe a hard case is the way to go.The not-so-good: packaging most certainly could have been better. This case shipped folded up (as you'd expect) in a white plastic shipping bag, akin to what Amazon uses for orders instead of boxes. The shipping bag isn't nearly big enough for this case. Because the case is too large for the shipping bag, when it was delivered, the "press & seal" bag closure was 90% split open, exposing the soft case to the elements. It had been downpouring rain at the time of delivery and the case did not get wet/damaged only because our porch is well-covered. Also: the strap and picks were still inside the package even though it was open.The strap is about the most basic of straps out there. The nylon feels thin and cheap, and the ends are of a low-quality vinyl. Don't get your heart in a flurry expecting a great strap, because this is a "guitar strap" simply by definition only.The pick "assortment" shown in the listing is NOT what was included. The listing shows 10 picks (5 DuraPick, 5 Pearl Celluloid) in varying thicknesses. This is my first 12-string guitar, and I was looking forward to experimenting with the different picks. Instead, I got a 10 pack of Pearl Celluloid picks all in Light Gauge (thickness not further described). Not a big deal, but certainly not what was advertised.In summary, the soft case seems like a good product for the price, with that caveat about how it was packed into too small a bag for shipping, and the shipping bag may be open when you get it. As for the strap & picks, they are included but not something to get excited about.

Me gustó el material, es bastante aguantador, suficientemente grueso para proteger la guitarra de pequeños golpes y polvo. La cantidad de bolsas está excelente, puedo guardar mis cancioneros, herramientas, atril y púas en diferentes bolsillos sin mezclarlos. Me encantó la banda sujetadora para el cuello de la guitarra, se siente más asegurada la guitarra. Si tuviera que comentar algo negativo sólo sería que no hay variedad de colores. La volvería a comprar.

mi guitarra cabe perfecta, el material esta perfecto para el precio, la cantidad de bolsas o compartimientos es perfecta, cabe todo lo extra que necesitas, me incluyeron unas puas y una cinta para la guitarra, recomendado al 100%

Es una funda resistente, tiene bastantes bolsas y proteje bien la guitarra, no he tenido ningún inconveniente, me ha gustado mucho

Un poco grande para mi Yamaha, pero bastante bien.
