Looks don’t mean much...aka...BUYER BEWARE
As cool as these look the fact that I have to reconnect them a minimum of once a week makes them not work. They constantly blink...I read this is a WiFi connection issue...all of my other bulbs (Philips) do not have this issue. And they dim but 1% is still pretty bright. It felt worth it to have the look until my newborn came along. We have routines set up for the middle of night feedings based on who is taking care of her...9 out of 10 times I have to repeat myself to get the light to work.We have a very smart home and this is the only room we have this issue in.

One bulb (of the two) worked great… for a while.
Update: Still no replacement from Geeni even though after a month of back and forth resulting in them finally agreeing to replace the bad bulb. But now both are bad and will not connect. I threw them both away and will never order a product from them again. I consider it money well spent for the education. These things are trash and their support is nonexistent.Original: I've reported my issues to their support to no avail. One bulb worked great, connected easily and has remained stable... working as it should. The 2nd bulb would not connect unless I used AP Mode and went through the process 20 or 30 times. And it wouldn't stay connected once I added it. Keep in mind both bulbs are in the same fixture about 10 ft from my router. Another company I purchased smart bulbs from IMMEDIATELY replaced the faulty bulb. I can't even get Geeni to acknowledge that I sent them all the information they asked for 7 days ago. But that one bulb is really awesome!

Great bulbs (-1)!
Great product. I am actually using them in a stoplight that hangs in my garage. I created a routine in Alexa that changes the stoplight at different times during the day by using these bulbs. No problem connecting to the internet at all. Very pleased.3/6/21 update: still living the bulbs but ism dropping my rating from a 5 to 4 stars because I ordered another set (for a second stoplight I acquired) and one bulb failed right out of the box. For around $10 per bulb, I expect better. I know it was probably a one time thing but wanted to mention it here and adjust my rating.

Better options out there.
First off it does not look like the the picture. The glass is just clear and not tinted as it is shown.Second I don't know why I have to download an ap and give another company my email to use a lightbulb. The last few bulbs I bought I could just put them in and ask Alexa to find them and they would work right away. Not so with this one.

All these will do is flash!! like a cheap motel they will never pair to the genie app on any device!
You can never enjoy the hue of this light because these lights never pair they simply sit and flash like a cheap motel and will never pair to any device we tried on three devices to pair the lights had I not waited and been too busy to return these before the window closed Amazon would have them back I think I'll spare them and send these back to the manufacturer and or I will have to do something else don't buy these lights it's very important not to get caught up with these gimmicks some lights work but I've never found that these lights will work I tried and I tried and I tried they simply will not pair internet Wi-Fi Bluetooth you name it they do not work buyer beware!

The problem is with the bulbs, not your router!
Not matter what was done, through all the troubleshooting and resetting of the router...these bulbs blinked erratically every time you turned on the wall switch. The box stated not to return, to call customer service? That didn’t work either.

Incomplete Review
The lightbulbs connected easily enough. As with most smart bulbs, it necessitated the pausing of my 5 GHz WiFi signal in order to complete the connection. Alexa recognized and controlled the devices once the Geeni skill was added. However, after working for a couple days, one of the bulbs is no longer responsive, nor will it even turn on manually. I have tried other bulbs in the same fixture with no issue. We'll see how the return process goes.

They do the trick?
I wanted Edison bulbs and Geeni was the only brand out there - overall quality is good. My only complaint with these (as well as 90% of other Geeni bulbs) is the fact I can't pair more than 2 lights in a "group" sure I can add more than 2, but it only ever will control 2. The rest I have to manually touch on my app (I know, first world problems, right?)
