BE Furniture 6ft Varnished Wooden Table - 6' x 2'6'', Banquet Tables, Wooden Trestle Tables

After buying other (cheaper and inferior) tables that left me very disappointed, I did more research and these looked very promising. I bought a pair and they are great. I needed a table area of at least 6'x4' for laying out large maps, games, jigsaws, and constructing model railway and gaming scenery. A pair of these gave me 6'x5' which gave me room to spare. The tables needed to fit over a double bed in the spare bedroom and so I chose these partly for their compact folding leg support joints - they fit over the bed with plenty of room to spare. They are easy to put up and take down if guests come to stay etc. They fold very flat and so can slide behind the wardrobe or under the bed out of sight when not being used.The tables themselves are well made and well finished. Sturdy (I laid on one and I weigh over 16 stone) and with a rounded rubberised edging providing protection against knocks.Overall I am very happy with my purchase and my only regret is that I did not buy these tables first instead of taking a chance with the cheaper and flimsier tables.

Sturdy table. Looks and feels great. I searched long and hard for the most reasonably priced table while still maintaining good quality and can say with confidence that this is the best value for money table out there.

Arrived 2 days earlier than stated. The table is very heavy duty and well finished. I am using it as a table for my sewing machine and overlocker in my utility room and it’s perfect! I’ll be taking it outside in the summer for a bbq table.

My only little criticism is that one edge of the table was scuffed due to weak packaging. Overall though very satisfied.

Sturdy, well made and easy to errect (if a little stiff to start - better that than lose). Quality materials I could not source for the price of this ready made piece.

Used for Xmas lunch comfortably for 6 adults.

Edit: having unbolted the leg where it meets the table I have managed to fully extend the leg to the "locking" position then reattach the bolts to the tabletop. It's *very* close to not being fixable due to the bend in the leg - had it been any worse I would have had to redrill the hole for the bolts in the table top itself. Now that it locks/opens fully, I am confident in its stability.Original review: The idea itself and the table is mostly sound, unfortunately the metal table leg is warped on one side which means that the leg cannot open out fully to its maximum position. I can't currently risk using it as any movement sideways may lead to it folding at that side.(I didn't spot this initially on delivery until I came to put it up having cleared space for it today and now it's past the 30 day return window)
