I highly encourage others to seriously consider the Waykar YDZ-150PM dehumidifier. The unit was quiet and effective, keeping a large finished basement dry. The pump for automatically removing the water worked as hoped. Turn it on, set the humidity level, and let it do its work - simple.The customer service was absolutely superb. I did run into an issue with a part malfunctioning, and they responded very promptly and resolved the issue very quickly and was very much to my satisfaction. The communication between customer service and me was very clear and prompt and there was absolutely no issue. As we all know, customer service can be a large part of our experience with a product. Waykar's customer service is excellent.The combination of a quality product and excellent customer service are the reasons why I encourage others to seriously consider this product. If I needed another unit, I would go to Waykar.

We are very pleased with the Waykar 150 pint dehumidifier. We live in a high humidity area and have a 3300 sq ft home on 2 levels. We placed the unit in the lower level and it brought the humidity level down in the lower and upper level to and maintained an average 45-50% reading. The humidity smell in the basement area went away very quickly and the air through out the entire house was drier. We researched a lot of dehumidifiers and what attracted me to this one was the pump feature. We found the unit to be very quiet and and the design is aesthetically pleasing.After a year of continuous use, we had an issue with the unit freezing up. Contacted customer service and the issue was taken care of quickly and the customer service reps were efficient, kind and very understanding. I would highly recommend this company and dehumidifier and would purchase the product again.Thanks Waykar!

I bought this Waykar YDZ-120 dehumidifier in September, 2023. It's been doing a great job in keeping the relative humidity in my 1,100 square foot basement at 45-50% since then. I have it draining into a floor drain, so there has been no need to pay any attention to it other than to clean the air intake filter occasionally. However, in May of 2025, the coils have been icing up. When this happens, the fan and compressor continue to run, but no moisture is removed from the air. The auto defrost feature had been preventing this from happening until just recently. An email sent to Waykar customer support quickly determined that the dehumidifier qualifies for a warranty replacement. Thumbs up to Waykar customer support for taking care of their customers!

I bought this dehumidifier to help keep the humidity level down in my basement. It works really well, it keeps the basement and first floor of my house at or close to the setting I set it to. It is also a lot quieter than other dehumidifiers I've had. I like that you can hook up a drain hose instead of having to dump the bucket all the time.Unfortunately after 4-5 months, the unit doesn't seem to be removing any moisture from the air. I have reach out to customer support and they are working with me to resolve the problem.

Brought my Waykar 5000 in 2024. We live in Florida in a cedar log home and it was amazing removing the moisture from our home. You can tell the difference right away. We would need to empty water daily at first which I could use on plants on the porch. I feel like the a/c did not have to work as hard. We loved this and told people how wonderful it was. A little over a year of use, it froze up. Noticed some water and ice on the coils. Called the customer service and we went through some testing, but it froze up again. Terrance and Penny at the support team were very helpful. Very patient with me, as we are seniors and not proficient with computers and texting. They have offered to replace my dehumidifier. Product exceeds expectations. I have high humidity in my house. I was amazed to see that it is capable of removing two containers of water per day and is able to keep the humidity of my townhouse at acceptable levels. I normally leave it on high mode. The fan makes a little bit of noise but it is still at an acceptable rate to watch TV. I have also worked with their support team and they are very helpful.

This is such a great dehumidifier for my small (840 square foot) house, really reduces the humidity and does so much quicker and efficiently than another that I had, definitely worth the extra $. It's easy to operate and pauses just below the desired humidity level and starts back up when the level increases. Also turns off when it needs to be emptied, which is very easy to do. It can be set at high, which is a little loud, or low, a softer noise level. My old house no longer smells musty. I highly recommend it!
