This switch works great for my miter saw and activating the shop vac.

I purchased this to turn my shop vac on when I run my table saw. It has worked perfectly, so I purchased another one for my miter saw station.

Works as described

This is an inexpensive solution for my miter saw station. Plug the saw into receptical "A" and the vacuum into receptical "B". That's it. It takes about 1-2 seconds for the vacuum to power up after starting the saw. The vacuum runs for about 5 seconds after powering down the saw. Perfect for my needs. Mounted on the wall right next to the power receptical. The pigtail is 14". It has two screw mounting holes. The whole thing is plastic. Not an issue for my use case. At this price point I'm sure the internal relay is typical Chinesium quality but you (mostly) get what you pay for. Seems like a decent unit so far.

Works perfectly, for controlling anything, not just a vacuum. I use it to turn my powered sub woofer on/off when the receiver turns on/off. Noticed it has a 90 second delay when turning off - good design!

I have a very small shop, and I used to use one vacuum cleaner for all my tools. That is a good concept because it takes up less space and is a more economical alternative to having separate dust extractors for each machine. The only problem with that concept is my brain. I would forget to move the vacuum cleaner to the machine I was using, or if it was already attached, I would forget to turn it on when needed. After breathing too much dust for too many years, I decided to equip my miter saw and table saw with their own dust extractors and to use these automatic switches to power the vacuum when the saw is powered. Man, I wish I had done this years ago. This switch does what it is supposed to do. I chose it because it can be easily mounted to a wall or workbench with a couple of screws. If it lasts for 10 or 20 years, then it will have been a good investment.

I have 2 PRO Sub Woofers (1200 Watts Audio Each) that I do not want to power off my AMP, plus my Amp does not have a grounded connection. This item allows me to use my AMP to remote turn on the Subs without any effort. Works great, and I would highly recommend this product. No Setup or special configurations...
