These are a lightweight alternative to bamboo smores sticks, which is what I was looking for. Something sustainable that the grandkids could use. These are extendable, color coded, and will be easy for the kiddos to manipulate. I love that they come in a carrying bag, and that they came in sets of 5. I bought two sets so there's no arguing! I have a similar set that's sturdier, but I think these are better for kids. Haven't used them yet but in looking them over, they are a great value at a great price. As long as you stick to marshmallows and hot dogs, these should work fine.

They are a bit flimsy. I recommend them for a marshmallow but not form something as heavy as a hot dog.
