I really love how warm this coat keeps me. It is very well made with a lot of attention to detail put into its design, The wrists of the coat have wrist bans that block the wind and cold from coming up through the sleeves and the hood has an inner pulley that helps draws the hood closer to my face which effectively keeps the wind and cold out. The coat can be zipped and buttoned, but even just buttoning the coat and not zipping it keeps the cold out.The back of the hood has a strip of velcro that the hood can be made shorter by if the hood is too big and falls too far down the face. I used the velcro strip to shorten the hood and the hood fits perfectly now. But I removed the fur around the hood as it made it look as if I had grey, wild looking hair framing my face. But, other than that, this coat really is outstanding.The coat has snaps around the hip area that can be undone to make the coat less restrictive for those who may find the coat too snug around the hips. The coat can also be pulled in at the waist by inner cords which is another great feature of this coat.I am 5'1 and three quarters inches tall and weigh 124 pounds. I ordered a medium because I like to wear heavy sweaters and wanted to have extra space in the coat to accommodate a heavy sweater. I ordered my coat in pink and it really is a very light colored, pretty pink. The medium is roomy enough for me to wear a heavy sweater under it and not feel like a stuffed sausage within it.I just love this coat! I am surprised that it is not priced higher as it very well could be due to how well it's made and how warm it keeps me in cold weather.

I needed a new winter coat that was water resistant with a hood that didn't fall over my face. The coat I ordered was true to color, warmth, durability and size. It keeps me warm but not so heavy that I couldn't do quick shopping in it. I love that the double zipper allows for adjustments both at the top and bottom as well as becoming totally disconnected. The buttons are unique and less likely to pop off and no snaps that unsnap when moving around. It has an inside zipper pocket just right for a cell phone or wallet. The only thing I don't like but okay with is that the hood is not removeable. The outside pockets are roomy and warm. I highly recommend this coat or at least this company. They seem to know how to make a good quality coat especially the materials they use.

I got this coat for working outside in the winter, in northern Ohio. I got a large, even tho im more of a medium size. I will have layers under it, so im keeping the large. Its a little roomy but not huge. The sleeve length is perfect, so thats another reason for not returning it; dont want to get a medium and the sleeves be too short. I love the hip length and the side snaps. That will come in handy when im crouching down at work. The outer fabric seems durable against snags and rips, and the sleeve caps and inner waist cinch r great to keep cold out. The hood after taking the fur rim off covers my entire head and the material is puffy around the face, to keep cold out, and the velcro adjustment strap in back and toggle hood cinches are great to have to adjust for custom fit. Even the buttons r secured with little straps, which seems more durable than if they were secured with thread. This is a very well-made coat! Hard to give a full review, as its mid-september.

I absolutely love this jacket. I have been looking for a replacement for my 20 year old Columbia jacket but just couldn’t find anything similar until I found this one. The fabric is beautiful. I love the way it fits (true to size). The lining is very cozy and warm. Very comfortable and good looking.The only reasons I did not give this 5 stars are that my jacket did not include the removable fur hood lining as advertised and I also think this has been worn before (not just tried on) as I found a half of an “Admit One” ticket in the pocket. But it looks fine and I probably would not use the fur lining very often so I consider this a win.

Ok, I read so many reviews before purchasing this coat. They were very helpful. The good reviews are not lying, this coat is great! It was delivered quickly and arrived in a cute zippered package, which was great because it was pouring rain when it was delivered. I got to use my new coat the following day in the cold weather. It is so warm! I had to walk in the wind and I felt no wind at all! It's very comfortable, not bulky like other winter coats. The velcro on the top of the hood is nice so you can adjust the hood to fit so it won't fall down too far over your face. The pockets kept my hands warm, too. The pockets are in the front of the coat, instead of on the sides, which is a little annoying but that's not a make or break component for me and I'm already getting used to that. There are snaps on the sides of the coat so if you prefer a little more leg room for some reason, you can have it. The outer cuff has two fasteners so you can adjust the fit, if needed. The inner stretchy cuff is nice, not too tight and not too loose. It allows you to tuck your gloves inside if you like. The arm length of the coat is perfect, not too short like other coats. I've used this coat outside while shoveling snow and it was great! Again, so warm! This coat is water proof, which is nice when in the snow shoveling as well as for impromptu snowball fights. I bought an XL and can wear a sweater or pull-over hoodie under it and it still fits nicely. Although, the coat is so warm that a big sweater isn't needed. I love that this coat is made from recycled materials and has no real fur on it and no real duck down in it. I hope this review is as helpful as some of the ones I read before purchasing. I totally recommend this winter coat! I absolutely love it!

Winter is coming.....I ordered this coat on 26 November - the delivery date was set to 09 December. Y'all saw the news.... massive storms destroyed most interior BC highways & railways - cargo ships couldn't reach Vancouver to unload - so the order was understandably delayed to 30 December. Thing is, we're selling our house and all my winter clothes are packed in storage. I got the Amazon delay notice, panicked and emailed customer service. The very next day (10 Nov) I get a DHL email confirming immediate delivery - 3 days later I'm trying it on. Now that's a Christmas miracle. No wait - it was marked down $40+ for black Friday to $95 (go figure) what a blessing!This coat was made in Ohio (not f?&#@!% China) - reliable US manufacturing - well made sturdy material (no chemical scent) - completely blocks rain and wind - fit exact to size (I'm 5.1 slightly portly 117 lbs - so medium fits nicely) It zips to the neck and reaches almost to my knees - so most of my body is covered/protected. That said, it's light weight - dons and doffs quickly/easily. The fur piece zippers off (thank God) and that big hood will certainly keep the rain off. The satin-smooth lining is thickly padded so the coat is very warm (like toasty) and I'd rate it perfect for snow shoeing or long winter hikes. I'm really happy.Mostly this is to THANK Amazon customer service staff (and DHL) for coming through, now I have a great winter coat and grateful indeed for their kind hearts and hard work.... Bought this while travelling to UK for studies.Has held up in the winter very well.If you are thinking of buying a coat online, this definitely is a good option

Love this coat! It's not terribly thick, but it's as warm as a country quilt! The fur around the hood is removable, but the hood itself is not. The zipper goes from the bottom AND the top which makes it comfortable to sit in. There are 3 snaps on each side at the bottom to open up about 6 inches at the bottom. Makes it easier to get into pant pockets. Coat is very flattering and covers my behind. My only complaint, the pockets. Even though they are deep and waterproof, there is no insulation in the outside layer if the pocket, so without gloves, my hands get cold. Other then that, this coat is exactly what I was looking for. It's been minus 20 Celsius all week with the windchill and this coat is holding up to a Canadian winter so far!

Not feminine as shown in photos. Comes up very large in shoulders. Had to return as far too big. I'm a UK size 8 and ordered small.
