This product is amazing. First of all, my family is tired with the conventional sharpeners. This motorized sharpener is amazing. Its set up is really easy. You just need to plug the usb adapter and job done. This product is doing its job very good. I tried 4 pencils and they the nib of the pencil was very sharp with this product. Safety wise, it is reliable as kids wont be able to open it easily. Overall, this product is a must buy for anyone who is having a kid in their house.PS: I am a graduate student and am also using it :)

I really like this because it's easy to use. It sharpens my pencils perfectly. It doesn't chew up my pencils. I like that it came with two extra sharpeners and a plug. I recommend this.

Update: After reading my 1 star review, Smartro proactively reached out to me and offered me a free replacement sharpener. I was impressed with this customer service, and I’m hopeful that this second sharpener will last much longer than the first. We have used it lightly for a week now. So far so good!—————————————I really wanted this sharpener to work for my family. Upon receipt, I sharpened a collection of pencils which were dull or had broken tips. By the 20th or 30th pencil, the machine stopped working. I swapped out the blades (cool design), and the new set worked. This tells me that the sharpener cartridges are of poor quality and aren’t made to last. This must be why replacements come with it. A sharper should have more than a “100 pencils sharpened lifespan” though. I returned the sharpener due to its poor quality.

Worked great for about a week and then the smaller sharpener stopped working. It will start to sharpen then stop after a second. I’ve had to just use the larger sharpener for smaller pencils also...

Just received this today. Now that we are homeschooling, this will really be a lifesaver. I love that it just plugs into the computer to get power. We had a really nice one last year but my son kept tripping over the cord and it finally broke after hitting the floor one too many times. It doesn't sharpen to a dangerously sharp point either which is a bonus with small children. It brings the pencils to a perfectly useful sharpness lol. Also, for anyone who might be wondering, it does sharpen Ticonderoga pencils. I happened to notice someone asking that question about another sharpener and the answer was no. This one does!

I got this pencil sharpener to use in my classroom with high school students. So far I've only used it with the batteries option, but it's very quick and leaves a really nice finish on the pencils. In the pictures I attached I have the before and after which was only after sticking the pencils in once. With my other electric sharpeners I would need multiple passes to get them sharp. The sharpener is fairly quiet so it's not disturbing to the class and it stops when it's done so it doesn't over sharpen. It has 3 different settings for sharpness; so far I've just used the sharpest one, but that is perfect for my classroom.

The media could not be loaded.  Update: 6mm to 8 mm sharpener stoped working.I had given this product 4 stars but now I changed it to 1 star.Bought it in May 2020. It was working great for few of months. The 6mm to 8mm was not working properly after a few months of use. Thought that maybe the blade is blunt. Changed the blade of 6mm to 8 mm and still it’s not working. 9mm to 12mm working fine though.

I like how it stops sharpening your pencil after it is fully sharpened instead of guessing. I am an art major so I have to sharpen a lot of my pencils and colored pencils and it has two different size sharpeners for the different size thickness of the pencil.

This has the 2 different size holes, and they work very well. It came with the spare blade inserts, means I won't have to worry about replacements for a long time.

What a fab pencil sharpener this is. Smooth, effective and sharp points every time. Highly recommend this product.
