Maximum head size specs need reduced.
Nice helmet for small head or child. Measurements given on site information should be down sized. While my wife's head was smaller than the maximum size listed in description it was still too tight.

Good for ages 3-9
I ended up getting two of these, because for some reason I was thinking this was a big kids helmet, and it's really for toddlers and younger children. My 8-year-old has a rather broad round Asian head. When I got her the small, it was too small. But I saved it because it fit her sister. So I got the larger size, and it fit my 8-year-old fine. My 8-year-old can also wear a woman's small helmet. Again, her head is pretty round, not so oval.

Liviano
Excelente casco para niños pequeños, muy liviano, para que vayan acostumbrando al uso frecuente.

Get it, but Plan on Upgrading Soon
It’s pretty good. I’d say it’s only good for a small child getting used to a full face helmet than much else. My daughter fell off her balance bike and face planted. The helmet protected her face and head, so … what more could I ask for for $60. But it’s not cozy like the Joovy helmets. If your 10 year old is doing some cool jumps or racing, you might be disappointed with the protection. But for a 3 year old it’s fun and super super lightweight.Update: The head band is garbage. It ruined an otherwise decent helmet. It’s not comfortable and it rattles around. The chin guard is also uncomfortable if you are hoping that will hold the helmet in place. If you have a bigger head than the suggested dimensions, that might help, but it’s not worth the price. Get a Bell

Great
Small fits a 4 year old perfectly! Nice and light and sturdy.

Too big
Helmet is way bigger than advertised. Ordered this for my daughter according to their fitment guide and it was very floppy and unsecured. I tried it on my self and it fit my big head.

Saved my kid from a bad face injury!
I bought this helmet for my crazy, holds nothing back on his bike, 4 year old son. One day we were on a bike ride and he decided to try to ramp curb on his bike. He hit the curb at a 45° angle, his front wheel twisted and he flew over the handle bars, smashing face first into the pavement. He had no injuries at all! I was AMAZED! Had it not been for him wearing this helmet with the face guard, we certainly would have been going to the ER. The face guard did crack a little, but when I contacted the company about it cracking, they sent 2 brand new face guards to me, FREE OF CHARGE! Great product! Great costumer service! Thank you!

Worth the money!
I have a super proficient (and overconfident) Strider bike rider. My 3.5 year old has had this helmet for a year as I have watched him perform his downhill speed run with more and more skill and confidence.Today he was not paying appropriate attention while flying down our cul-de-sac hill and hit the curb of the drainage culvert at the bottom of the hill while looking off into space. He hit the curb with his chin and between this helmet and the knee and elbow pads - he walked away unscathed.I bought 2 more as my 2.5 year old is going to need one now too!
