Keep in mind that I'm reviewing this product by also taking into account the price I paid. I am very happy with these cameras that I bought. I have one looking in my front yard and and one looking at my back yard. I got these June 28th and immediately charged them up and put them outside, they were active by the beginning of July, definitely before the 4th. It's now August 20th and both cameras are still above 50% in their battery life. I can look and see what's going on at any time and can record directly to my phone.The motion sensing could be better when someone comes up to my porch, for example, they're already turned around to leave before the camera starts recording. It records for about fifteen seconds, I believe, and half of that is nothing, because they're already gone. So, I wouldn't expect too much from the motion sensor. The front yard specifically goes off every time a car drives by. My camera in the garage, also a Wyze cam (older and indoors only) also has motion sensor issues. I don't think Wyze is the best camera for that purpose.However, if you're just wanting to check into your home when you're away and have a layer of security, since the motion sensor does work good enough, these cameras are great. For the price, they're excellent. You can pay to have full recordings saved to a cloud, but I honestly find the little bit I get good enough. It'd be enough to hand a lead to a police officer if someone tried to break in.In terms of durability, they're pretty good. I live in Florida and we've been getting nonstop rain storms since June and have plenty of hot sunny moments too. The cameras have handled all of that perfectly. The one in my backyard got bumped and fell off the mount (only about half a foot from the ground). It's perfectly fine. These are not cheaply built by any means when you consider how little the products cost.That all said, especially since Wyze keeps upgrading their products, I wouldn't hesitate to buy these types of products from them again.

I recently bought 4 different wireless security camera systems to try them out. I bought a Google Nest Outdoor Battery, an Arlo Pro 4, Blink and Wyze. Each unit had advantages and disadvantages. The Arlo had a really nice picture (2k vs 1080P on the others) and it worked on my TVS and my Family Hub fridge but the battery life was poor and it cost too much. The Google Nest was kind of beefy and didn't connect to my fridge even though Google Nest is supported. The picture was pretty good but it was a bit pricey as well. I then went to some lower cost solutions like Blink and Wyze. I liked the Blink for it's compact size, it runs on AA batteries and the notifications were quick. The image quality and the app were a bit quirky though. The Wyze seemed to by far and away take better daytime and night time videos/pictures. The battery life seems pretty good so far as well. I like that the base station and cameras can use Micro SD cards to backup video. It was basically the most cost effective solution and I felt the app was pretty good. It can be slow loading the live feed and motion detection notifications can be slow at times as well. Ultimately for the picture quality and the price, the Wyze won out.

I really like the cameras as a security measure at our second home. Range from the base station is really good at over 150 feet. Software is pretty user friendly, although I never could find a user manual on line that details all the features. I had to figure it all out just by playing with the app. Night vision image range and quality is not great. Motion detection does not work some times. Resetting everything seems to help with that. With good lighting, the image quality allows facial recognition at 20 to 25 feet. I noticed that the HD versus SD settings make very little difference in video/image quality. Sound received from the cameras is not too bad. Sound sent to the cameras is low quality, but I figure any noise is going to spook the bad guys into finding an easier target. In this case, I believe you get what you pay for. Most highly rated security cameras are 3 and 4 times as much as these. These work and they do what we need them to do, which is to give us a little peace of mind. If you need great image quality, including night vision, I would not recommend them.

Been using this for a few months now and it works great, only issue I have is with the app, it sometimes turn your notifications off from time to time so I’ll miss an alert but the camera records everything.I bought a solar panel for it and I never have to worry about the battery dying

La cámara hasta el momento está cumpliendo su función. Ni la puedes colocar detrás de un cristal porque no detecta bien el movimiento. Sugiero también que coloques la cámara donde pueda detectar movimiento horizontal ya que el movimiento de frente no lo capta muy bien.

Solo puede decir que me fascino la app, amigable, la instalación es fácil (tienes que coenctar el receptor directamente al módem para configurarlo), muy buen producto por calidad/precio

En calidad y precio es muy buena, fácil de instalar, no se me hizo caro 400 pesos mexicanos por cada camara anual para que le den 1 o 2 actualizaciones al mes, depende de las configuraciones es lo que dura la batería, en una lleva un mes y medio y va en 50% y otra duro un mes con una semana, pero fue debido al constante movimiento que hay en la zona. Volvería a comprar otrar dos cámaras y ojalá en un futuro agreguen soporte para más de 4 cámaras. Lo padre que la base después de actualizarla (la primera vez tiene que ir conectada directamente al módem/router) puedes usarla inalámbricamente. He visto que funciona bien lejos del módem a una distancia de 12-15 metros de distancia. Espero les sirva este Review y la verdad que es muy buena compra. Cómo único inconveniente es que no se pueden ver vía web, lo cual no es ningún problema, ya que pueden bajar el emulador memu (emulador de Android) y así descargar la app de wyze y usarlo también así.
