I really haven't got much to compare it to, as only previously used the one built in to my laptop. It's definitely better than that. I agree with other reviews that the standard angle is too wide but you can change that. I now have it covering as much, or little, of the room as I want. I would buy this again, as long as it lasts a while.

This is a good camera with all the features comparable with those more expensive ones out there.The package is coming with the setup items you need, and installation is very straightforward without any driver to be installed on my window 10 PC.The Mic recording is good: clear and crispy sound. The 1080p video is excellent with wide angle view, the static capture is very decent as well. I have been using it for zoom and skype or other online streaming, all is good. You pay less and get more features you need with this camera.

At first I was very happy with the camera. Easy to install plug and play and worked quite well. However, over the last two weeks it has only been showing pictures intermittently. I have plugged it into every USB port and extension on my computer and the picture may work for a bit then it will cut out. I have adjusted what settings I can on the computer but the camera still only works intermittently so I have stopped using it. I suspect the USB plug is at fault but i can't be sure. Happy when it worked, but as it it doesn't anymore.I am not happy with it.

takes longer to open box than to set up, just plug in and click on camera (if using on laptop with built in camera just click on logo of camera with arrow in window) and this camera overides laptop one, great images, and can be used as cctv camera if you put it near window while using comuter.also lots of adjustment, angle, height etc.

The Camera sits well on the monitor using the attached pads to keep it stable however, the picture is not great with quite a heavy fish eye effect and some rather washed out colours. My main issue is it does not handle bright lights week at all, if the sun comes through the office window and shines on me only (not the camera) then begin to look like Paul the alien and lose my facial features and develop a halo. Also the built in mic is poor with people on calls telling me the sound is low in volume and tinny. It works but has faults.....

I work for a professional service firm and I was sick of taking my laptop off the stand to answer calls without my washing being in the background! The reviews were very mixed but if all you need this for is zoom and MS teams calls the quality is great!I use my laptop microphone so couldn’t review that.

I was against a plug in webcam for ages because I have a webcam built in to my laptop... why use an external one right?However, the overall picture quality is so much better and more vibrant with this webcam than that of my laptop's built in one... I am really happy with the build quality and have recommended it to others too.

Seems like a great Web cam. Only critisms would be the red power light stays on constantly even when the camera is not being used. Can be quite distracting. The stand, great idea but the legs on it are not to flexible making hard to get that perfect position. Despite this it is sturdy once in place.
