We have had our Duronic scales for only a couple of weeks so cannot comment on its durability, however we are so far very impressed with its performance. We are of an age where Bluetooth is a private matter between you and your dentist so did not want a machine that told your phone your BMI or water retention – we simply wanted to read our weight and the Duronic does this extremely well.The scales must be used on a hard floor and the underside of the scales has four non-slip feet for this purpose. Also on the underside is the battery compartment housing two button-type batteries (replacements easily obtainable on Amazon). Next to the battery compartment is a button which adjusts the readout – default is for kilos, but if you are not keen on being dictated to by Napoleon a single press converts the readout to pounds and a further press of the button gives good old British stones and pounds. A further press takes you back to kilos (but why would you?)The foot plate easily accommodates my size 10 feet (reviews of other makes of scales often criticise small foot plates). To activate the scales you simply step on, step off to allow the scales to zero, then step back on, wait a couple of seconds for the display to flash and you have your weight. The display is exceptionally easy to read and remains visible for around 10 seconds before the scales automatically switch off. The scales are remarkably consistent and our weight has remained constant every time we have used them (unlike reviews of other makes which often remark on the variability of readings).If you want scales that just tell your weight the Duronic scales perform that task easily and accurately.

I am on kidney dialysis, and so need to record my weight every morning. My ancient Salter scales didn't seem very accurate, so when they went to scales heaven, I invested in this Duronic. I was attracted by the large display. The footplate is white glass, but the feet are sturdy so these scales are ideal.

Big, bright and clear display. Works well and seems to be accurate. For the elderly, dark flooring and black socks makes it very hard to see where feet are on the scales causes a chance of tipping (easily rectified with a piece of hardboard underneath)

This is the best scales I ever had. It's very easy to use. And the screen is nice and big where you can read the numbers even if you don't like what they say "LOL" I'd highly recommend this to anyone on a weight loss journey to keep track of their progress.

Waage ist schön, ausreichend für die Füße30cm. Große Anzeige. Die Knopfzellen sind nicht mein Favorit. Auch nicht super fand ich das man erst den QR Code für eine Beschreibung scannen muss, für das Erste Austarieren der Waage. Die Zustellung mit DPD ist auch schlecht. Nicht nur das trotz Ankündigung man bis 20:00 umsonst wartet, dann am nächsten Tag geliefert wird und man im Nachgang noch einen Zettel im Briefkasten hat , wir haben sie nicht angetroffen.
