I love this set. Its the best I've ever bought for my dog. My dog is an American Bully. She's short, wide, incredibly strong, and has low center of gravity. I'm a small woman. My dog is thankfully a friendly dog but I still need a strong collar and leash set to be able to control her when she decides she doesn't want to go play when she shouldnt. She has broken many collars usually at the buckle but this one has the best buckle I've seen on a collar. She's gone through a lot of leashes but I think this one isn't going to fail easily. The slide on the latch gives extra support. It's really easy to adjust the collar to the perfect size. We've had trouble with other collars rubbing sore spots on her neck bc of the bad fit and the tendency to loosen on their own. This collar is thick and soft on the inside and doesn't loosen so we aren't having any problems with rubbing while we are working on training like we did with the others. It looks great on my dog. I love the blue and purple camo. It has a velcro patch for adding pretty stuff if u want and comes with two patches. Right now she's got her American flag patch on. I'm planning to make her some bows with velcro on the back so she can wear a pretty bow when we go places. Most collars I was finding in her size were thin with plastic buckles. This collar is thick with a big metal buckle that's easy to release when u need it to but holds firm when u don't. The leash is good. The low handle is the perfect length for when I need to hold my dog close and have a lil extra control over her movements. I used it to take her to the vet the day it arrived. Even in all her excitement this collar and leash held firm. I was able to easily guide her where I needed her to go without any discomfort for her. She walks really well on a leash most of the time but there's the occasional time she gets over excited and I need to be able to keep control of her. She's much stronger than I am so we've had many failed experiences with collars and leashes. This set didn't falter at all and I think we will see improvement in her walking with it bc I am able to keep control when she gets too excited. With other sets failing I was struggling to teach her to behave when over excited bc I could keep control of her. With this set I can easily. We are going to be doing some training this weekend and we are going to try this collar and leash. I think we are going to see a lot of improvement. You cant properly train a dog without a good collar and leash that u can depend on to maintain control without harming your dog. We've had other collars hurt her during some of our training exercises. It's vital that u be able to trust and depend on the collar your dog is wearing and my confidence in this set has grown by the day. It's far better than collars I've paid as much as $80 for and they didn't have the leash. When this set gives out ill be ordering another like it.

I love this collar!!! Seriously the best collar ever, I ordered two for my dog, one to wear now and the other to wear when she gets bigger. Really hard core durable, the locking feature is really heavy duty and sophisticated while being easy for a human to unlatch, and the handle on the collar is a must-have. I like the reflective Velcro patch a lot, the D ring is really durable and large enough to hold my dog’s AirTag and dog tag. I also absolutely love the color I got as well, the camouflage purple and blue is sooooo pretty. Plus it’s nice because people can tell right away my dog is a girl now because of the girly colors so they’ve stopped asking me, “What’s HIS name?” The leash is really awesome as well, the bungee cord feature keeps my dog from getting tangled up in her leash, the second handle on the end makes it easy to grab her and keep her close if another dog or people walk by, and the D ring on the leash holds her clip on baggies. They really thought of everything when designing this set. The only thing I would say I kinda wish was different was the buckle naturally wants to hang down in the front because it’s heavier of course, which makes the handle on the collar rest off to the side instead of right on top of her neck where it’s easier to grab, but it’s really not an issue as I just remember the handle is more on the right of her neck when I need to use it to hold her like when answering the door and people are coming into the house. The handle sticks out enough that it’s easy to grab without fumbling around for it, it’d just be nice if it’s natural resting place was more centered on the opposite side of the buckle so it would always be right top of her neck. Someone else said that the Velcro on the collar isn’t enough to hold their dog’s collar on, but I think they just didn’t understand how the collar works. The length of the collar is adjusted at the buckle, which is a very thick durable metal on an adjustable strip, and then the underside of it is Velcro so that the excess or the overlap of the collar is held together underneath once you’ve adjusted it to the length you want. There’s a good amount of overlap on the underside when you get the buckle snapped together, the Velcro is meant to keep the overlap from sliding around or getting off centered. The buckle is what holds the collar on, not the Velcro, and the buckle is really durable and strong, you just have to adjust it to the right length. Don’t rely on the Velcro to keep the dog’s collar on, though, that’s not what it’s there for. This is a completely awesome set, I’m never using anything else for my dog.

I love the extras like the handle on the collar. Not crazy about the width - it’s super wide compared to collars my dog has previously worn. The Velcro patch included that I put on there isn’t very sturdy, it was torn to shreds either from her scratching and it being in the path or from her running around doing dog things like going under barbed wire or through thorny brush. Collar itself seems sturdy though.

I got this to walk my pit boxer and in the collar is very easy to put on. Once you adjust the sizing you just clip it on and off I like the fact that it is wider and doesn't apply so much pressure in one area if the dog should pull it has 2 handles. One closer to the neck and one further way. This does allow for better control should something cross your dog's path and your dog starts to Dart Off. You can grab that closer handle and have much more control. All in all this is a good set and came at a great price as I got it on sale.

I love the design and how durable it seems. However the latch (aside from being metal, that I liked) is less than desirable for me now that my husky has managed to unlatch it and escape twice in less than a week. Luckily the 2nd time he was in the house. But the 1st time he was outside on his chain and ended up all over the neighborhood until the neighbors kids brought him home because the collar became unlatched. The reason I got it was to prevent him from escaping and the convenience of having the handle to grab when company is over and he gets to excited.

Fits very well on our girl. We had to upgrade to this tactical collar as her brothers figured out how to get her old collars off and would chew on the collar/buckle. This one has been great so far and the handle to hold is great too !

Started to come apart after 2 weeks. For the price it is decent but didn't hold up for our big girl. Coloring is very nice design, Stitching can be approved upon and velcro wasn't the greatest. Didn't really like that part about it after using it.

Construction seemed fine. No issues with it falling off the dogs as others have stated. However, the collar has rubbed the fur off the throat of our lab and we’ve stopped using it. No issues on our german shepherd however her longer coat could be disguising it.
