I got it, opened the package with the magnets stuck to each other, so far so good but then i try to UNstuck them by rotating and pulling and with a lot of force from the fingers i got them separated, finally, but it took a few good seconds. these are strong magnets no doubt about it. And here is what right after i separated them, had one in one hand and the other in the other hand and the moment i separated them i kind of relaxed my hands and without warning the magnets pulled one another and one of them broke and in the process pinched my skin and i now have a red mark where that happened. Becareful when you by from TAQTON, they don't care about safety at all. They should ship them separated. These magnets are no joke. CMS Magnetics ships their magnets carefully packaged and are safely separated. Whatever you do, whatever the purpose of your purchase you must BECAREFUL with these kind of magnets. And if you got kids keep these magnets a mile away.

I purchased these to use for finding metal studs inside walls of newer construction. They Work Even Better Than Expected!If this is your intended purpose look for the N52 Magnetic Rating, N42 is NOT Strong Enough.The only improvement I would suggest is a Re Close-Able Package (I had to make my own) to protect the magnets and to prevent them from sticking to EVERYTHING within six inches around! ;-)..... They are also difficult to separate from each other with out the included spacer between them, but of course that should be expected,

These are super strong magnets, too strong for the intended purpose. Be careful, they are very hard to separate and you can get cut/injured if you lose control and they snap back together. They should be kept away from computers and data storage devises of any sort. Fantastic magnets, now I need to find a use for them!

these magnets were so strong they shot across the counter and collided with each other. I bought these as a science project for my 6 year olds home schooling. He learned about magnets, brittle metals, sharp objects and controlling bleeding when sharp edges cut his fingers. we used these once and they shattered. +1738734 stars for strength minus all but two stars for durability and usability

Firts review ever on Amazon. I'm a physics highschool teacher and have bought many different high power magnets on Amazon. None are as brittle as these. They shattered the first time they made contact with each other (from close range). Not a spam review, just extremely unhappy with this product. That said they strong as advertised, but would suggest any other n52 magnet on Amazon.

Very, very strong magnet. In hindsight, even though they warn you they are brittle, I broke both of mine within days. They are very brittle!! They give you fair warning so be careful.

Perfect for what I needed - small and unobtrusive but strong enough to hold the small comforter and wall hanging I put up at work, where the magnetism in the walls is very weak.

Great product, extremely strong and high quality. I am using mine for inducing a voltage in copper windings. Wonderful customer service when I dealt with TAQTON.
