UV Lamp/UV Quartz Sleeve Combo Kit for S2Q-PA/SSM-17

Our off-grid vacation cabin is in a cold climate and we broke the quartz (really just good glass) sleeve because of freezing the first winter - this was the replacement - we have the 12 volt version of the sterilizer. We have it mounted vertically and I hadn't realized that to fully drain it, you need to loosen the bottom o-ring under the lower cap. Now that I know that hopefully we will not need to buy one of these again. So that's a tip: if you are expecting a hard freeze, unscrew the lower cap and use your fingernail or a tiny screwdriver to carefully roll down the o-ring just enough for the water to come out. The manual says you need to re-sterilize the entire system after any power down and if your water source is sewage that is probably a good idea. We batch process our rainwater from a 55 gallon drum and only have this powered when doing so. As our source is fairly clean filtered rain we only bleach the system every now and then - we have had our water tested and verified that this approach is safe given our situation.
