Perfect for taller tanks
We were looking for a smaller circumference net (to navigate around structures and plants) but with a telescoping handle because our tank is relatively tall. This is perfect! The telescoping segment slides smoothly and it’s held up great so far. The netting is fine so it does filter out a lot of debris. Anytime we use it I leave it fully extended until it dries just so that I don’t seal the moisture up in the handle. I also appreciate the fact it has something by which to hang it up. I set up a little area with water resistant contact paper up against the wall (protect from water) with a plastic tray underneath (catch drips) and command hooks to hang all of our supplies on.

Great little net
I really like this net for catching baby guppies and cherry shrimp. I’m not sure but it seems like they are not as afraid of the white net and I’ve had very little trouble catching them. The telescoping feature is very nice too as I use this for a 30 gal tank and it is very compact for storing. I’ll definitely be buying a few more. One tip is to turn the net inside out to use it, otherwise it doesn’t really stay opened up.

A net made for shrimp
Great net for shrimp. Better then a regular fish net. Because of the way its made the shrimp aren't tangled up.

A bit fragile, BUT GREAT!!!
Can bend easily, but can be bent back easily as well, It is a great net for nano tanks, even the smallest standard nets are far too large. Awesome for scooping up floating plants debris, or shrimp.A bit frustrating at first because it wants to fold up flat, but after some use it holds its 3d shape nicely.

Great for catching shrimp
A big improvement over my cheap nets. The telescoping handle and fine mesh makes it super easy to catch shrimp and move them to another container. Just pop right out whereas previously they would have to work a bit to get free from conventional nets. Worth it!

I like the shape and build quality but it's not very effective.
It seems well-designed and easy to use, but for some reason it traps air really easily. Not water. Water flows through the net with only moderately more than the usual resistance from a fish net. However, if you dunk it with air in the net, the air bubble will stay in the net.It's also a bit flimsy. If you press even a little on the ring supporting the net, it will bend or break.I'm being careful with it and still find that the size and shape makes it highly suitable for certain tasks, so I hope I can keep it in one piece a little longer.
