No more wet floor!
The size may be standard for frame door grooves, but it did not fit in our door. I used strong glue, and it did the job. Some say the magnet is not strong enough or nonexistent, but they are probably not positioning the polarized side correctly. Before installing them, try them, and you will see that they do stick together.

Good product at a reasonable price
Who knew that shower door magnetic strips would eventually get brittle, break and fall on the bathroom floor? This product was the exact replacement, installed easily and does the job. Good for another 10 years.

Has 3m adhesive on the back. Not ideal for install
This magnet has an adhesive on the back which makes it impossible to slide into the slot all of the way. It also has a very weak magnetic connection. Don't waste your money.

Easy to use, fit perfectly. Magnet is not very strong.
Needed to replace the magnetic strip in my shower door. This was the perfect size, easy to use, durable and easy to cut to the correct length. It is working fine. However, the magnet isn't super strong.

While this was easy to install, it slides right out every time you open the door.

Did the Job!
Had a new, framed shower door. The magnetic strip on the door got accidentally yanked out & then broke into pieces when attempting to put it back in the channel. I was quite anxious about replacing it to be a complete hassle (as these "simple" house projects can tend to be). How delighted I was when I put this replacement strip in under 5 minutes w/ the only issue being that I got the polarity wrong on my 1st attempt. The hold is very strong. I am so very pleased to have the shower back in operation so quickly & w/out any cursing ...

Did not work for me.
The magnetic strip was slightly too thick for my shower door. It looked identical to the magnetic strip I needed to replace but this one was just slightly thicker. I was not aware of this (can’t be seen with the eye) until I started the installation. It took me awhile to slide the magnetic strip about 1/4 down the door. I made sure I was using the correct side of the strip to magnetically attach to the strip in the shower frame before I started. Since it took so long to only get about a 1/4 of the way down, I thought I should try out the magnetic strength before I took another hour to get the strip down another 1/4. The strip did not seal to the other magnetic strip on the shower frame. There was no magnetic attraction. I pulled the strip out and can’t return it. Not sure what to do now.
