Recently I had been looking to get back into PC's - I was using a Mac Pro for a while, but since Apple has been slow to upgrade, I was enticed by the current technology in PC's. In the past I had owned Velocity Micro and a few other custom gaming PC's, and enjoy tinkering with them. I had considered building one from scratch, but I decided to go with Maingear instead because I really liked their build quality and company in general. Yes, it's just an S340 case, but their wire management and nicely done logo designs really set it apart from a generic computer. I also like that they use enthusiast parts that I could buy myself - which is great.Their support has also been fantastic - I have had numerous questions about the system and varying components, and they have been very quick and helpful with everything. That's worth a lot, too - because of course you can google PC information, but it's different when you get advice from an experience professional.The system is super easy to upgrade as well, and as I said, wire management was superbly done.The system came with an I5 7500, and NVidia GTX 1060 3G card, which I have upgraded to a GTX 1080 founders edition. I also upped the ram from 8GB to 16GB.I would certainly get one of their complex higher end systems in the future as well. This Vybe was nicely priced as well for the quality, not too expensive at all. Of course, you can save a few bucks if you put everything together yourself, but for me it made more sense to go this route because while I am an enthusiast, I am recently stepping back into the PC world and learning again about what the best hardware is.As for performance, you likely know what each component is capable of with their own benchmarks, so you can reference that, but system has been very stable and capable, and the liquid cooling makes it very quiet.
