Every time I buy a new computer they take away ports. The new Lenovo does not have an ethernet port and only 2 USB ports. This is a $1200 computer. My old HP Pavilion has 4 USB ports, an ethernet port, HMD port AND a DVD player. But it is now obsolete because it won't support Windows 11. This adapted uses the C port and works perfectly. It does get very hot but, so far, hasn't exploded. I would buy it again.

Bought this in July. Stopped working/works intermittently until end September. Had to purchase another one yesterday.

I got this because at my job the guest WIFI is throttled. Using this with a network cable I can do more. It also works great on my laptop which does not have a built-in NIC.
