Everyone said it was junk, well mine lasted and now I can't find one that will last one day. Shane it's not available!

It is brighter than the desk lamp it replaces, these are one of those times where LED's do not save you that much, because the original light was 22W this is 17W and only 200 lumens more than the CFL it replaces, but, I replaced it because I prefer cool white than daylight for this specific application.whit that said, this is just a bit larger than the original CFL glass, others might not had this issue, but is all depending on the item, my lamp has zero wiggle room so a few mm larger makes a big difference in how it goes in, lucky for me, I was able to remove some tabs from the light and it fit just fine. But FYI if your lamp or device do not have much room.

I was looking for an LED light to put in a fan light to be brighter. When I first put it in it was great. Then a couple of days later when I went to turn it on it would not light. I took it out and put it back in thinking I didn't connect it correctly. Still didn't work. When I took it out I could hear something rattling inside of it. I would have liked to say that I loved it. And wished it would have worked. I didn't get it returned in time. So have lost out on returning it. My fault there. So ended up putting the old fluorescent bulb back in.

I have two swing arm desk lamps that use this type of bulb, one of which has a magnifying glass. I replaced their aging florescents with these and can't be happier with the result. The color is great. They are brighter than the florescents. They come on instantly in contrast to having to hold down the switch, which I had to do with the florescents until they fired up. The light is more evenly distributed and the color is actually better than for the florescents. Best of all the replacement is trivial, exactly the same size as the florescents and with the same 4 prong plug the florescents have. This is a much better choice than another version also offered through Amazon, the 8 inch Circline T9 warm white 2700K LED directly relamp fluorescent FC8T9 bulb without rewiring, which I tried first and found to be totally unsatisfactory (both for color and the fact one was defective).

really bright and very blue' compared to a traditional olde-worlde light. I would have got a lower wattage if I'd known i was going to have this super nova on my landing.Hard to give any points for longevity or efficiency at this stage. If I remember I'll get back to you in seven years or so

Extremely bright. Measure slightly on the small side and the led's are only on one side which made fitment into one of my fixtures tricky. A guess would put the light output around 5k

This works great. Unfortunately the older Dazor magnifying lamp I bought this for turns itself on when using this bulb while the lamp is plugged in oto the wall. I suspect the issue is there is a trickle charge that is enough to power an LED which requires less power than the fluorescent circline bulb. I just leave the lamp unplugged until I need it - which is a little more inconvenient but worth it for LED lighting.

Perfect replacement for fluorescent bulbs. Be warned - it is VERY BRIGHT. My wife only let me install one because it made the kitchen so bright she didn't want the second one installed :-)
