Nice light, my wife was impressed, seems to be well made and looks great. I just received it and when I took it out of the box and operated the remote, the light started talking to me. I thought it was strange, it said: "When are we going camping? I want to sit with you by the river in the woods. Get off the couch and take me camping, how hard can that be." (smiley face)

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nice little modern style lantern that we got for our log cabin, and I love that it comes with a remote as well. The remote can have a hard time registering and switching through modes at first, so I had to click the remote and the button on the lantern itself a few times and then it got the gist. Other than that, everything works well enough, but the handle can also be interesting to twist back into the right place sometimes. For the lighting, the first mode being a flame is interesting, the second is a constant light, and the 3rd is a slow blinking light and the 2nd and 3rd mode seem the most dimmable. I am not used to the orange lighting this emits and have liked this more if the warmth could have been changed. This comes in a very giftable state, and I think it's absolutely adorable! Manage your expectations. This flickers, but it doesn't really look like a flame. It has the same warm colors, and it's cozy on the patio, but it's not going to fool anyone.It produces great light, and you can easily adjust the light for a couple of patterns or steady light. The flickering is actually stable enough for normal lighting. I use it with my kids every weekend.You can charge devices with this, and I suppose it's an OK backup for that, but it's large for a charger and didn't take my phone from 25% to 100%. I do think this is a pretty good emergency light, as the rope makes it easy to hang, and it's easy to put on a dim light, and lasted three days on that setting for me.There's a nice solid remote, and you do need to keep track of it for full functionality.Construction quality is just OK in my opinion, and battery life is fine for the kind of product, but nothing about this was amazing. At the lower price I think it's a great value but understand it's on the cheap side, by and large.

But it’s also stylish enough to set right on the center of your dining room table or as accent lighting anywhere in your home.In terms of features, it has three modes of lighting: 1) flame effect, 2) constant on, and 3) lighthouse effect (i.e., pulsing on and off). It has 8 levels of brightness, and the highest level is quite bright – nearly 300 lumens. It’s weatherproof and can be hung by its small metal ring or by the nice rope handle. All the features can be controlled right on the lantern or by using the supplied remote, which is also weatherproof and runs on a replaceable CR2032 button cell battery.The lantern’s battery capacity is quite remarkable. With a robust 6,700 mAh (milliampere hours) battery, the light lasts a long time between charges. I tested the fully charged lantern in the constant-on mode at the brightest setting. It took about 18 hours before the light was so dim that I could barely see it. But It easily provided 12 hours of useful light – starting to dim around hour 6. Per the included specs, it can last up to 80 hours at the lowest brightness setting. When on the go, the robust battery can also help keep other USB powered devices (e.g., phones) charged with the USB out port. The media could not be loaded.  With three modes, variable brightness, a realistic flame effect, and remote+local control, our MONOLAB LED Camping Lantern with Flickering Flame has added more fun both to camping and to relaxing in the yard. We especially love the remote-control capability that lets us turn the lantern on or off and adjust the brightness and effects without getting up and handling the lantern (though all these things can be done from the knob on the lantern as well). The flickering flame effect is reasonably realistic, while the non-flickering ambient light mode works great when we're eating, conversing, or playing games. Once charged, the lantern runs for quite a long time, certainly for several nights, and the internal battery can be used to charge other devices (which of course reduces the lighting time).The MONOLAB LED Camping Lantern with Flickering Flame has what I'd call a universal style, a touch of both marine and lodge influences yet decidedly modern. At full brightness it casts plenty of light to read by but can be dimmed to a pleasantly low level. The lantern is very well built, with no loose or ill-fitting parts. It also comes in very giftable packaging. We're thoroughly pleased with ours.

There are different settings on the lantern, one for flames and one steady light and both can be turned up or down to your liking.The only thing we did not like is it isn’t very bright. We are going to use it in my sons room instead of taking it camping as we planned. My son has an outdoor/wood themed room so it’ll fit right in.The box it came in is REALLY nice as well, it had a silk like handle. Would make a great gift!This is a sleek lantern, great features and modern.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nice looking lamp. Great for camping, when the power goes out, or just in place of a relaxing candle. I love that it has a remote that attaches to the lamp itself so I don’t lose it. The 3 light modes are great.
