Mega Hot BBH3002 Brazilian Heat 1.5" Flat Iron

I was looking for a professional grade flat iron that wouldn't break the bank, so I gave this one a try. I am so pleased with it!It does an excellent job getting my hair straightened quickly and efficiently, and I love the fact that it has clear temperature settings and can be locked so you won't accidentally change the temperature or switch it off by bumping it with your fingers.The tooth guide is awesome, and allows the flat iron to glide smoothly through your hair without having to switch back and forth with a brush or comb.It leaves my hair smooth and glossy!It also comes in a nifty, heat-resistant case that is wonderful for travel and storage.

I did some research about what kind of flat iron to purchase. I had a Conair for about 1 1/2 years which had a ceramic plate and it was ok. I found this Brazillian termouline flat iron online and liked how it looked and the fact that it heated up quickly. I bought it and have been extremely happy. I had shoulder length hair but recently cut it shorter and the flat iron worked well for both hair lengths. I have thick, wavy hair but set the iron to 350 degrees and it straightens quickly and evenly. I wouldn't set the iron hotter than 350 because you might burn your hair! very happy with the product and the price!

When I ordered this, I didn't really know what to expect. I have had several different upper end straighteners/flat-irons, Paying almost $200 dollars for some of them. This by far topped even those. I have thin, but very curly hair. I can comfortably wear it curly, but it's so much easier when it is straight. With one of my old irons, it would take me almost 45 minutes to straighten my hair. Now, with the Brazilian HEAT by MEGA HOT, It takes me about, I don't know, 10-15 minutes. Depending on how straight I want it. I have never been able to wake up before work 45 minutes before I have to leave, and be completely ready. It's wonderful. Not to mention, the comb head snap-on piece helps run the straightener straight through my hair, and make it so silky and soft. I also can't help but comment on the wonderful floating plates, that, by the way, move up and down depending on the amount of pressure put on them. It's wonderful. I love the temperature lock, that allows you to keep it at the same temperature without accidentally pressing it. I love it. I will definitely buy it again, and I would be SURE to recommend this to someone else if they were purchasing a new flat iron.

The straightener heats up quickly and does the job, but definitely not my favorite product from Brazilian Heat line. Not a bad purchase, but nothing I'm that excited about either.

I purchased this flat iron after years of using a less than desirable one. I am so glad I made the decision to purchase this product. I can straighten my hair with one pass of the iron and it lasts throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a great flat iron at a steal of a price.
