Connected with the BrightFun app just fine and I could turn it on/off. Will not connect with Alexa at all. Tried two different smart plugs. Try again guys. I didn't try google home because google assistant wants to track all web activity, location history (private map of where I go) and all my device information. Why does google need to know where I travel to be able to turn my lights on!!!

Have a total of 5 of these. One of them keeps going offline. Can restar it, and it will work for 30 minutes, but then drops out again. My confidence in the rest of them is in question because of the one. Which is too bad, because they’re easy to set up, schedule, and use.

Not sure what the problem is with the 1 start reviews. I ordered these and installed with no issues. You install the app on your smart device (phone) and it works. Easy Peasy.2nd thing is you want it to work on Alexa, you have to scan for smart home devices within the alexa app (also on your smart device)

This plug is junk. It comes in basically a white box with some generic writing on it that says some brand I've never heard of. I open the box and the plugs look just as plain and crappy and there is no manual of any kind. I have no idea how to set them up at all. It's basically just an expensive USB port now. I bought it because it was cheap and had 5 stars. But after I got it, I went to look at the reviews and the vast majority of them are CLEARLY commenters that this crappy chinese company paid to pad their ratings. They all are the same overly-enthused generic comments with horrible english and grammar. Take a look. It's so obvious.Amazon really should do something about this kind of thing. Let's just say, I'm going to be extra wary of bad grammar in the reviews from here on out.
