6 months later I still love these smart plugs and have ordered more
These plugs were a dream to install. I don't use the phone app much except to install them, and use them primarily with Alexa. On the phone app, you need to install the Smart Life app whether on IOS or Android. You also need to enable the Smart Life skill on Alexa if you are using Alexa to control the devices on the plugs. After that, is is really all self explanatory. You don't need to read the tiny print on the instructions.I had initially tried the Leviton DW3HL-1BW Decora Smart Wi-Fi Plug-in Dimmer, No Hub Required, Works with Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant that was a pain in the neck from the get-go. That plug disconnected at least twice a day that required reconfiguring. When it did connect to Alexa it took 1-2 minutes for commands to be implemented. Also, with the Leviton plug, you have to enter the WIFI security code for each plug installed. I have returned all of the Leviton plugs. This smart plug is a dream to install. Once you enter the WIFI security code, you don't have to enter it again for additional plugs installed. Alexa response to commands is instantaneous.I have not yet had a problem with the plug disconnecting, but will update my review if I do. So far, I couldn't be happier with this smart plug.UPDATE 4/16/18I initially bought 3 of these smart plugs and have now bought 3 more. I honestly don't understand the connection problems that some people have had unless they have routers that do not have a strong signal. My router is downstairs and I have two of these smart plugs installed upstairs. Rarely have I had a connection problem and even then it was with the Echo Dot that I have them connected to. A second request to the Dot and they always work. I have had the 3 from my initial purchase for 6 months and so far no problems. With the Leviton smart plugs that I initially purchased, and then returned, I had to constantly pull out the dresser and my bed to reset them. I have not yet had to reset these plugs. I suppose that connectivity problems could be due to a router with a lesser signal.UPDATE 10/11/19:I have had 3 of these smart plugs installed in my bedroom for 2 years - 2 behind a triple dresser and 1 behind the head of my bed. In this time, I have had no connection problems and have not had to reset the plugs even once that I can remember. I would definitely recommend these smart plugs for dependability, connectivity, and longevity.I hope this review was helpful for you.

smart living 👍🏻👍🏻
I’m a big fan of smart living, been using wemo smart plugs and i really love the convenience. But i been very annoy that wemo smart plug is fairly large and sometime (depends how your outlet set up) it might take up both of my outlet space so I decided to get the mini size one.while browsing for info about wemo mini, this 3 pack deal comes into my search and the price caught my eye; this dailycomb smart plugs only cost less than 1/2 of the wemo mini so i decide to give it a try since everyone tried to use this kind of smart plug will know, you will not just get one and just use the only one ;) so instead of spending over $100 for 3, so i went with it.**been using the plugs for about 3 weeks, they are steady and i found the operation of these plugs are actually MUCH easier than Wemo cause the wifi setup for wemo sometime is real pain; for this one you just need to follow the instruction (have clear english instruction, i believe is not google translate), download the app, hook up wifi and they are good to go!like it has extra usb so i can charge my devices while using it, only downside about these plugs are the plastic feels pretty thin, unlike wemo they do feel study. but this doesn’t effect the basic function of the plugs**

Cheap product, cheap quality
They work. They do what I expected them to do.. but they do it all poorly. These outlets come out at about $15/socket which is almost $10 cheaper per socket than some of the big names so that's a plus.. the app that comes with these though is pretty sketchy and low quality. The app always stays open and asks for too many permissions. The app will link up with my Google Home but any time I modify the settings I have to disconnect and reconnect the account to Google. The app is written and distributed by some foreign company but you have to connect it using a completely different brand name and app name when linking it to Google, doesn't make much sense. The physical quality of the devices feel cheap, their is an electrical hum that is noticable when near the device. My wife had to move the socket that we used to control her lamp by her bed because of this noise.Next time I will definitely buy a name brand outlet for a little more because I don't really trust this device or it's software.

Two out of three work, One not communicating with Echo.
Birthday gift recipient and end user wrote: I gave the dailycomb smart plugs 3 stars because only two out of the three plugs work with my Amazon Echo plus. One plug will operate from the Smart Life app, but remains offline to my Echo Plus. The othertwo plugs are working well. The first hurdle to overcome in setting up the plug switches was to ensure that the device I was using to install the Bright Fun and Smart Life apps was on a 2.4 ghz frequency band.I have a dual band router with 2.4ghz and 5 ghz bands, which connect automatically based on the best frequency for the device being used. In the case of the Apple iPad, that is usually 5 ghz. Tryingto connect the smart plug switches at 5 ghz will not work, and the only error message you will get is that the setup failed. I solved this problem by having my wifi provider change my ssid to only run at 2.4 ghz. I then had my provider set up a new ssid to run at 5 ghz by changing the last digit of my current ssid to create the new ssid. With my apple iPad running on the 2.4 ghz band, the setup went smoothly. After completing the setup, I changed the wifi setting on my iPad to connect to the new ssid, so that it would run on the preferred 5 ghz band. So far, two of my plug switches are working smoothly with my Echo Plus through voice commands.
