This adapter worked a magic on my old dell optiplex 7010 desktop and it now boots "headless" just fine. Cheap, cheerful and does exactly what is says on the tin

Very useful device allowing my mini pc used headless as a plex server. This allowed the embedded GPU to remain running allowing it to srill do decoding offloading and also for remote access software to be at a jseable screen res. Great little gadget that I missed I knew about sooner.

Bought the DP one, the resolution support on the description is not correct. this device only support 2K at 30hz and 4K at 17hz, which is the same as the picture graph.

Does exactly what it does and well.

Using this adapter on a headless Linux Mint machine which is an old Dell OptiPlex. adapter worked a treat meaning the only cables from the box is power and ethernet

Doesn't allow 2560x1600 @ 60hz despite its description and therefore not fit for purpose.

I have a Dell optiplex 7010 which very stupidly won't boot without a monitor attached. I bought this to fool it into booting and it works great. Absolutely no issues.

I use this with Nvidia gamestream as gamestream would not always work with my monitor switched off and works perfectly for this purpose.

4k only goes up to 18hz.

1) Je veux accéder par Teamviewer un laptop qui a un écran 1366x768. Teamviewer ne vas donc afficher que 1366x768, jamais plus et c'est bien peu.2) J'ai configuré le laptop avec un vrai écran branché sur le DisplayPort pour que, fermé, ce laptop continue d'afficher sur le vrai écran (et que sur le vrai écran) avec la résolution native de cet écran (un Full HD 1920x1080 par exemple).3) Je retire le vrai écran du DisplayPort et le remplace par l'émulateur. Je laisse le laptop allumé.4) Maintenant j'y accède avec Teamviewer en 1920x1080 voire en toute autre résolution supportée par l’émulateur qui me propose jusqu'à 3840x2160. Je n'ai pas essayé aussi haut car je n'ai pas un écran qui le permette.100% enthousiaste

Um ein Homeserver ohne Monitpr mit anydesk zu steuern war dieser Dongle erforderlich - und zum Glück brauchte das genau was ich mir erhofft habe.

Je n'ai pas besoin de résolution extraordinaire juste du 1920*1080 pour faire du cast d'écran. Marche très bien sous linux
