Q: Sorry if this is a stupid question but what do you use the black and green cone and split looped bits for? I thought they were waggler adaptors?

they are for your lead it goes on your main line and if it gets snagged the lead comes off sao the fish isnt dragging it all the time you can see how to use them on youtube hope this answers your query they are called lead clips

I've had no failures myself. Caught several carp upto 27.4lb on them and used some of them on pike rigs catching pike upto 30lb on them.
