Manchester 1175TC White Horizontal OPD LP Tank

It cost $50 dollars to have the tank purged at a propane supplier, it took several flushing’s (6) to properly purge the air from the tank before filling it with propane. The tanks advertized shipping weight is 28.3 pounds and after filling it’s 51.6. Propane weight is 4.24 pounds per gallon; this tank has 5.49 gallons of propane in it. They used 9.8 gallons of propane in the purging process with methanol laced propane to protect the inside of the tank from water and rusting. Manufactured on 8-2015. Made in Communist China!

Replaced two tanks on my vintage motorhome with this one tank. Perfect fit and now I have a gage to see how much fuel is left in the tank.

Decent tank. Just had it purged and filled and it held 4.1 gallons.

I needed to purchase two of these tanks for my RV. Seller sent a Vertical Tank instead of a Horizontal Tank, so I'm not able to issue any kind of reasonable review of this item. That said, I was able to obtain the tanks from a different online vendor and they were perfect for the application. Manchester tanks are OEM for most campers that use horizontal tanks, and are designed to work even when fully filled. In fact, you are supposed to fill them vertically so the tank holds a true 7 gallons of propane. I would buy these again, but not from the vendor on Amazon.

this is fraud, the item was nothing like in the description, I want my money back
