It’s my first time using these but I think they are great. I used them to grow flower seeds to start indoor and 40mm is a decent size for this purpose. Some of it broke a little during expansions but nothing crazy. I have seeds sprouted in 3 days.

Very large amount showed up at my house. I’m pretty sure it was bigger than I ordered. Very happy with the quality and how easy they are to use!

I ordered these as they were much cheaper per unit than the name-brand version, and we have a very large garden to start seeds for!They expanded well and seem to be of the same growing medium as the name-brands.The only thing a little bit off was when they expanded, the mesh that keeps their shape seemed a bit loose, and they grew kind of awkwardly - you'll have to tear the mesh in order to get into the pod, whereas your name brand ones have a perfect circle in the center without mesh, so they are a little easier to use...but for the money, these are a great buy!

These are the worst seed starting pucks ever. The “perforated” opening is barely perforated so it’s a giant pain to open and you pretty much destroy it in the process, the fabrics is super thick and there is too much of it so there is an excess of fabric sticking out of the top after you’ve broken them open, the medium is super compacted so you have to break the crap out of it to get it ready for seed, they are misshapen and tippy, and make for an incredibly frustrating seed starting experience. Spare yourself and do not purchase.

They were a bit smaller in diameter than I thought they would be, but they grew my plants well and they held up until I was able to plant them in the garden. I know they are supposed to be biodegradable and I could see most if not all my plants had roots breaking through the cloth by time I was ready to plant, but I still cut a stripe down the side of the fabric just to make sure that the roots could break through and grow without problems.I'd say I had about 80-90% germination rate with the seeds I put in these. I'd highly highly suggest watering these things from below rather than trying to top water or mist them. Set all the pods in some kind of container with 1inch or taller sides, pour water into one corner of the container until its about half an inch deep and let it slowly soak into the pods each time you need to water them, otherwise you risk the seeds being washed out if you try to water them top down.

These peat pellets did what they were supposed to, but they were narrower than I expected. That may be my fault. I didn’t like that the top had to be torn apart. I wish I had snipped the top before I expanded them. There’s a hole punched in the top, but they don’t expand to allow you put to put the seed in unless you pull at it.

Absolutely love using these for germinating seeds. Just add some warm water ,wait a few minutes and start planting. A real no mess way to start your seeds.
