Whether for use with a salad or to use preparing a meal, these Martha Stewart Richburn 9" Tongs can come in handy. Supplied zip-tied to a hang card, there is basic information on the back of the card. Made of stainless steel in China, they appear to grip various foods well. The arms lock together with the convention pull lock at the hinge, allowing easy storage. These do not have any covering for the grippers; caution should be taken not to scratch vulnerable surfaces. Pricing for tongs such as these varies widely, and these may be at the high end for such a tool. The price would be my reason for coming down one star on the rating.

These have a quality feel, and they work perfectly for salad or frying, etc. They're worth the extra cost, in my opinion. I'd buy them again.

Turning burgers or dogs on the grill, tossing salad, or plucking lobster from the pot, these tongs fit the bill every time. I will order a couple more.

I've been using these tongs for under a year in Chef School and at home and I just love them. I think the size, appearance, and durability are all great. My favourite tongs.

I use this for searing steaks and cooking chicken on my cast iron on the stove at smoking hot temperatures, these tongs are able to handle it really well. The grip is really nice for holding larger/heavier steaks and it doesn't get burnt or stained unlike my old tongs (to be fair though I clean it right after use).
