This harness is amazing! Our 7 year old grandson with special needs was way too big for regular car seats but still needs a five point harness. I paired it with a buckle less booster and he stays nice and secure! And believe me, he will try anything and everything to escape. It is very worth the price. If the child is under 100 lbs make sure you get this one , with the crotch strap. The next size up doesn’t have that. Why did you pick this product vs others?:The only one that is safety approved for vehicles!

We bought this for our Autistic 9-year-old daughter. It has done very well at keeping her seated (traditional seatbelt was not enough). She has recently been able to unbuckle the chest clip, though-keep that in mind. Overall she seems to be comfortable and even enjoys helping us loop the belt through the straps. Good buy!

This is a lifesaver when traveling because I have to take an Uber or Lyft to Amtrak to get to the airport, and the train I take doesn’t allow car seats! I originally found this when looking for lap belt conversion options since my family has nothing but older vehicles with lap belts in the center and it’s difficult to fit two car seats next to each other and then a booster seat in the remaining outboard position. This allows us to save space, eliminating the need for my 9 year olds booster seat, and allows us to put her in the center seat with the lap belt. Absolutely AMAZING and this deserves a much higher rating than it has at the time of writing this! The only caveats to this wonderful invention are that this doesn’t work too well with newer sedans we’ve ridden in with Lyft and Uber where the tether anchors are RIGHT behind the headrest, won’t work with kids much younger than about 3 years old unless they’re really tall, and is fiddly, requiring practice and extra time to get kiddo buckled up properly. My son is 2.5 years old at the moment and he’s just under average height for his age, and he’s only JUST tall enough to use this. Kids should be rear facing until between 4-6 years old because their spine isn’t fully ossified until then to handle the forces of a crash, and my son normally rides rear facing, but with our inability to bring/use a car seat for travel, this is our only option aside from a travel backless booster, which is DEFINITELY NOT an appropriate safe option. For older toddlers and younger booster kids, around 2.5-3 years old (minimum 31 pounds and around 34” in height from real world experience) to 65 pounds in most vehicles made before 2020-2022, this is the ideal solution to reduce the volume of stuff you have to schlep with you when traveling as you don’t need to bring a car seat or booster seat, and this rolls up to fit in a pocket in a diaper bag or backpack! Much safer than a backless booster for the smaller kids! At this moment Amazon says “only 15 left in stock-order soon,” and I’m worried! Ez-On PLEASE don’t discontinue this! This is game changer for families who have to drive older vehicles with lap belts or who have to cram three kids across in todays ridiculously narrow back seats! And absolutely an underrated (virtually unknown) option for families who travel frequently! If any of these situations apply to you, get this, you’ll be glad you did!

So my daughter is 7 years old, weighing about 45 pounds. She has autism and we wanted to get her off of her car seat. I followed the instructions from the YouTube video but it still looks weird. She was so thin and small in it, she was able to take her arms and head out. :-( she kept crying and looked uncomfortable. I saw one customer suggest to use a booster seat which I will probably have to buy in addition to this. I have previously bought EZ products only sold on their special needs website for my eldest 9 yr old also with autism. It’s around $300 bucks comes with a harness and the straps, but definitely worth it. Wish I would have just bought that one instead. Oh well we gotta make it work tho so gonna stick with it. The blue harness is from the website, just to show the difference. daughter in blue harness can’t move and the black seatbelt is my 7 yr old which has been wiggling and sliding around. It’s probably better for bigger kids as I saw the other pictures for reference. Giving it a 3 cause it’s supposedly for all weights, never said we might need a booster seat. Will come back once we set her up with booster seat. Thank you!

My 7YO grandson is autistic and does not understand vehicle safety. He has also outgrown all other carseats sold at stores. This was a cheaper solution that we wanted to try before spending hundreds on a disabled carseat. This is working GREAT. Strong, and easy to use. A great buy. 👍

Perfect for extra needs child. I needed a solution for my ASD child that didn’t cost almost $900 like most “special needs” car seats do. He was pervious able to slip out of his lap belt booster seat and was way too big for regular 5 point harness seats. Took a chance on this set up and it’s perfect! Due to his age he needs to remain in a booster so I added this on top of his booster seat. For size comparison, he is 6.5 yrs. No more escaping the seat belt! He stays put and remains safe and secure now. We did buy strap pads just for potential running I saw could happen at the neckline bc of his height. Worth this money!!

This is for a SUV. It should say that in the product description. It will not work for a sedan.

It took me a long time to figure out how to install it specifically because I have the transition booster seat and I didn’t want any bulky pieces being behind his head. Now that it is installed however I really like it! I have so much peace of mind that if something happens he will be ok. My friend was recently in a car accident with her daughter and since then I kept thinking about what if’s. Now that I have this I feel much better.
