Great Combo!
This motor/transmission combo is great. Crawling is much more controllable now. If you donāt want to go brushless yet, and want a reliable low-speed crawler, Iād highly recommend this combo.I did grease the gears in the transmission casing before installing. Everything fit perfectly when assembling though. Even with the Bronco interior I bought off Amazon.

Great for scale crawler set up!
Super low gearing and will crawl over almost anything! The only downside is it makes the vehicle go super slow compared to stock... but that's not much of a problem if you're worried about low end torque over speed! Definitely recommend getting the injora steel driveshaft set and some better axles because it will tear up the stock driveline!

Great upgrade!
I replaced the stock motor due to the transmission gears being stripped out.. This motor and transmission combo seems better in every way. More power, and just feels overall better made.. installation was even easy..

Comes with new hardware and fits right in.Low end speed is really nice.Drives smother and quieter then stockPair this with a steering servo makes youāre rig a different beast!!!!

Excelent for the money
This kept me from throwing my TRX4m Defender in the trash. The motor is strong with a good slow controllable speed. With the crawler gears in the transmission, this is now won me over... that and I have replaced everything but the Axle housings and the ESC/Receiver. Everything else has been swapped out and upgraded all because now it will actually perform because of the this motor and trans combo.

TORQUE!
This is the set up that the Traxxas TRX-4MT should have right out of the box. Stock, the truck doesn't have enough power, it gets stuck very easily, this engine and transmission solves that problem. It's a tad slower than stock now but the power it has now greatly overshadows the loss in speed. The torque practically lays the truck over! Too cool! Engine doesn't get hot and the stock receiver/esc doesn't get hot either, so win/win!Dont hesitate to get this, it works nicely and it's not expensive, so just buy it already and go have some fun!

Perfect fit
Good set up to get your trx4m build off and going help with slow crawl for sure gears and motor work well together nice and smooth.
