Q: How do you gauge which weight (color) you should get?

There is not a pound measurement associated with each color. The range starts from least to most as yellow, red, green, blue, black. If you are in a lot of pain and really weak from an injury or surgery, then I would start with yellow or red. If you are looking to be really challenged strength wise I would go blue or higher. Green is a nice medium resistance.

Q: If i have pain in both elbows, can I still use the flexbar?

I have tennis elbow in both arms. At first it feels painful. But you have to start with like 5 reps a day. Because your actually working double since you have to hold the bar with both arms. Only you know how much you can handle. It's all about baby steps when you have tennis elbow in two arms. Also there is no other excerise that works and stretches the tendons like a flexbar.

Q: what is the difference between newer version and old version?

Hello! Packaging is the only difference between the new and old versions of the FlexBar. The product itself remains the same.

Q: What color and how many repetitions should I perform for the FlexBar elbow exercise?

Most people will start with the Red FlexBar and then can progress upwards as the injury improves and strength increases. If you are experiencing a higher level of pain, we would recommend starting at the lowest resistance, Yellow, and building from there. Start off by completing 3 sets of 15 repetitions twice a day, and then progress to the next color and reduce your repititions. Keep in mind that the exercise will be painful at first, but should subside within a week or two.
