I'm gonna save you some time. If you have thick hair, this is your pomade. If you have short hair, this is your pomade. If you have long hair, this is your pomade. If you have thin hair and you're going bald, this is not your pomade - shave your head.Looking for that perfect pomade for my longer thick hair, I started with Dax Wave & Groom. Then I moved on to water-based pomades that shall remain nameless. Then I tried other traditional pomades. Then I ended up at... Dax Wave & Groom. I have NOT tried all the pomades out there and I don't intend too. But I've tried enough to get a sense of what's available. Nothing has come close to Dax Wave & Groom.Dax Wave & Groom has a pleasant, but subtle smell and excellent hold, without being waxy. My one complaint is really more of an observation: the container can be a pain to open. The lids fit so tightly that you have to keep turning the can, inching the lid up ever-so-slightly, until finally...POP.Tips based on my experience:You can always add more Dax, but it's tough getting it out, so take your time finding the right dose for your hair. Again, do not expect to simply wash this stuff out. That's not a criticism; that's just good ol' fashioned pomade. There are plenty of tricks out there for removing Dax and other pomades; you'll want to check those out at some point. But keep in mind, that you don't really NEED to get it all out every single day.It seems that the best time to apply Dax Wave & Groom on longer thick hair is right after showering (towel-dried hair). Dry hair with Dax Wave & Groom in it is less-manageable (I'm sure this becomes less-true with shorter hair).Before applying Dax Wave & Groom, put a small amount on your palm and rub your hands together vigorously to soften it. This helps to get a nice even layer.While combing, I recommend periodically dipping your comb in warm water. It will make life easier on you and help to keep more of that hair on your head.

Fantastic product! It is a little dense, so I always put it into my hair when it is slightly damp with warm water. I find this makes it go in much easier and looks better. Also, be sure to really rub it between your hands to get it nice and pliable!

Total rip off the order stated there are 2 items in the package and it doesn’t. It only has 1. Requested the item be re delivered again, same issue second time around. Intentionally misleading the customer.

Love this hairdressing I’m african american lady that has wavy/curly hair. I have never had a perm or relaxer/texturizer or any harsh chemicals on my hair to straighten or manage it I straighten with in past at salons hot combs or since late 90s I do flat irons curlers etcWell what I love for years I have a more soft texture fine hair I can wash or wet my hair and Even if I straighten it I use this on my edges anything else besides beeswax dax murrays have not lasted this lasts all day I on the edges and/or helps me lay my hair down I don’t wear my hair out only
