Fantastic security camera
This is an incredible bit of kit and one of the best things I have bought in a while. The picture quality is extremely sharp and the build quality looks far more expensive than the £109 I paid. I am so impressed with it I will be buying the homebase, another camera and the doorbell as soon as there is another promotion. The App is not quite as intuitive as it could be but it isn’t difficult to set up and I’m being “picky” . I didn’t realise until it turned up that Eufy is owned by Anker but it explains a lot as it has their usual quality.

Security camera
This camera is replacing one of my older eufy cameras and I can see a huge improvement in pretty much every aspect of the design and features. We have moved up from a small fixed solar powered 2c eufy camera, the first thing we noticed is just how much more ground this covered, the old camera covered half of what this does. You also get more useful features, like facial recognition technology for the people who live in the house. The picture quality is better. The sound quality is better. You can move the camera around to get different views rather than the old fixed cameras. This camera has been up for a few days and the sun has been charging it up now problem. It uses the Homebase 3 hub (we had to upgrade to this but got a deal which sweetened the blow, the old 2c cameras can still be used with this new model so haven’t gone to waste) this camera can not be used with the old Homebase 2 hub.The camera was really simple to set up, it really is all done for you via the app and cameras scan button. It literally takes minutes and needs no tech skills whatsoever. The picture quality is excellent, super clear, even in low light. The sound quality is good but environmental noises are picked up as well as voices so things can be muffled by traffic noise.Night vision is really good, it does go into black and white but features are still clear and people recognisable.Should you need to save a video this is really easy and you can download it in to your phones photos with no complicated instructions to follow /remember.Storage is on the Homebase unless you put an external hard drive in, for normal household use the Homebase is more than up to this, we live on a busy road and get lots of triggers each day and the Homebase has enough storage for us.Being solar powered you do need an area where it’s int eh light, not direct sunlight but a few hours a day to charge up the batteries, if we have a cloudy grey day it still charges and the battery life is really good so this gets a full day/night use from a few hours in the light. We consider it well worth the price and worth upgrading to.

Great camera
Excellent security camera, so easy to set up and get working. Gives great quality videos and quickly notifies you when there is motion or human activity. Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this item

Best Solar - Battery Camera
This camera from eufy is absolutely immense! The camera quality is stunning at 3k resolution, with 2.4gHz wifi which seems as if it would be an issue but it is not. The sound quality is great, the ai tracking is mind-blowing as it is built into the camera and does not need a Homebase. The solar charging is very efficient with my camera charging in full sun from 9am to 3pm. With 6 hours of constant sun, I charged 1399 mAh which is very good since I won’t have to take it down ever (currently this is the UK winter). Only downsides of the camera is the brightness of the light and the adjustment of the solar panel on the top of the camera which may affect charging since I could have got a little more sunlight with being able to adjust it more. The notifications are great, best in any solocam range. It is not easy to take the camera down it would require a little time which is a good thing incase of a burglary. The functionality is great, easy and interesting.I would recommend this camera over any other battery camera or wired from Ring. I did replace the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus with this and it is 100 times better for an extra £10 (when on offer). If Anker/eufy do find a way to make the light brighter I would give this a 5 star.Update after 4 months of use:The camera hasn’t come down since it was up, it’s still staying around 100% and is charging a good amount each day. Since the camera performs so well, I have 2 minute clips with ai tracking so it eats into the battery even more (it actually doesn’t). I have generated around 28,000 mAh which is amazing since that’s around 5 charges for the camera?I have also brought another for my north facing garden, which still performs exactly the same as the south.

Brilliant stand alone no fuss camera
Moved from google nest to eufy. Not disappointed. Had the camera for couple of weeks and this thing is set and forget. Battery Charges on dull days, remains at 98% after 2 weeks, numerous events captured. The dual lense and tracking is genius.Picture quality brilliantWould recommend
