The dynamic duo of dandyism - Adams and Callahan - return with a sequel to their outstanding book "I Am Dandy." Like "The Godfather II," this sequel lives up to the original work. "I Am" focused on well-dressed gents in the usual places (London, NYC, Milan). "We Are" adds dandies from the less-obviously places in Asia and Africa. Adams brings all of these men to life through his excellent writing that captures why they spend so much time and energy on their appearance. Callahan's colorful photos says as much about the gents as Adams' writing. The new book is inspirational and does even more than the first book to explode myths and assumptions about modern-day dandies. I highly recommend it.

Creo que el dandismo no es algoo necesariamente vintage, también es una actitud vital y este libro recoge a dandis modernos. Algunos son demasiado exagerados para mi gusto, pero tiene un tema muy importante, el estar en el mundo de manera elegante y disfrutando los pequeños placeres, una suerte de respuesta hedonista al caos en el que vivimos. Muy buen libro, muy buenas fotos.
