Medical Pet Shirts Large

Bought for my 18m old saluki for when she was spayed. I bought a large, and a medium to compare sizes, and needed the large. It's a little baggy around the tummy because of the distinctive saluki shape and I had to stitch up the rear leg holes to prevent her from getting to the wound, but a minor inconvenience. It keeps her warm and snuggly. I thought she would protest when I put it on her (several times to get her used to it) but she was very compliant and it's never bothered her. The underneath 'device' (a short length of tape with a popper at the end which connects with a popper on the belly of the suit) to hold the rear end material out of the way when she needs to go to the toilet was a faff on, so I just unpopper it and leave it dangling whilst she goes to the loo, then popper it back up. OK for a bitch, but wouldn't work too well for a dog. I researched different suits for a long time before buying this and am delighted. Because the saluki has a long, skinny neck the vet advised that the 'lampshade' collar wouldn't work for her, and in any case, I'm sure it must drive dogs dotty. Overall really pleased - pet and owner well happy.

The shirt arrived faulty as the Velcro didn't stick. Otherwise this shirt was excellent and I would recommend it. My dog, who does not normally wear dog clothes wore it without being agitated. I can therefore presume it was comfortable to wear. Washes well and dried quickly . My dogs operation was on his chest and the vest folded back easily and stayed allowing him to pee easily without having to adjust the back part of the shirt. I have given it 4 out of 5 because it arrived faulty but company very responsive.

It’s easy to get on and off, easy to wash, large size fitted our 29kg Flat coat retriever didn’t seem to notice she had it on. Much better than a cone at stopping her getting to wound on abdomen. You can roll up the underside For toilet breaks. Glad I bought it.

I have got this ready for when my lovely Saluki gets her navel hernia repaired .. I ordered the large and it fits great. She has been happy to wear it so far .. so will not be odd for her post op.Updated to say .. now she has been wearing it for a few days the smaller size would have fitted better than this one. It's just a little bit too long in the body for a snug fit

Outstanding quality, only issue I have I get with all doggy products - I have a sighthounds so fit not great, going to try the size below

Fantastic saved a lot of stress with a hyper dog after a operation great quality and the large was a perfect fit for my giant schnauzer

I bought this for my GSD to prevent her interfering with a hotspot on her hip. She didn’t have to wear a cone whilst wearing the medical vest so it was a godsend. 👍
