Some of them did not work :(

I am used to the 4-band color code system, but these use the 5-band system, so be aware of that. As others have pointed out, the leads are super thin and don't know yet if that's going to be an issue. The few that I've used, I've checked with a Fluke meter and values appear to be within the 1% tolerance.

I got these to fix the controller ports on my dreamcast that stopped working due to blown fuses, seemed to be the cheapest set of this many resistors that would fit the bill - so I got this for the fix and to have a few extra for other projects.Happy with everything except the cheap shipping/packaging they chose - putting anything this flimsy in a bubble mailer is a recipe for something getting cracked, in this case the entire holder for all of these things - thankfully nothing inside got broken, but taking off 1 star because they could have avoided all of this by putting it in a box, or adding some paddingUpdate: 4/9/2019 - seller quickly reached out to me and made their mistake right, updating my review to reflect perfect score as they have gone above and beyond to stand behind their product - would very much recommend this product and seller!!

Good value and variety.Only 4 stars because:The kit is missing the 680(ohm) and I got 2 strips of 510(ohm). (You need to tighten up the quality control.)The plastic case isn't exactly inconvenient. It would be more convenient to place each strip of resistors in its own small plastic bag and then place them in a plastic case. I did something similar using snack bags and a bankers pouch I had on hand. It will make it easier to keep resistor values segregated and together after I dismantle a breadboard.

So after this sitting in my toolbox for weeks, I finally got the chance to use these.I soldered a resistor into a led circuit, and it overheated and burned out shortly afterwards. I narrowly avoided damaging the LEDS. The resistor was the correct ohm rating.I wish I could like them. The plastic case is nice, and the included bonus parts are cool, but none of that matters if the resistors burn out. I can't even return them!Stay away from these. They will burn out on you.EDIT: The seller reached out to me after I wrote this review, offering my choice of a full refund or replacement. They were prompt and concise in their replies, and everything worked out in the end. I am amending my one star review to 5 stars for good customer service!

Good for its value, with extra thermistor, photo resistor, led(red) which i can use for arduino.

When you aren't sure what you are going to need for your projects, this is a nice combo pack with a bunch of different resistances. The box is not the best but it's better than them just loose everywhere.

I bought these for breadboarding to teach my son basic electronics. I'm sure They will be fine for that. My only complaint is that I made the assumption (my fault) these were 1/4 watt. They are 1/8 watt but I can not find that rating anywhere in the product description.
