This is a great option for your R1S if you are looking to keep the temps down in your vehicle. I finally gave up with the blazing heat this summer and this was a perfect option. It’s very easy to install and the color is almost a perfect match to the Ivory Coast interior. It really does make a huge difference in keeping the car cool!

Waited to experience 2 weeks of use before posting this feedback.The install was extremely easy. (I should mention that 2 clips were missing from the manufacturer's packet but that did not cause issues). The sunshade stays in place from the force of the spring-frame edges pressing firmly against the headline opening. I have driven over many uneven surfaces, no movement, no additional sagging, and now without fear of it falling - remains securely seated.Significantly reduces interior ambient temperature: 12-15 degrees cooler inside when parked in full sun (temperature with sunshade in place vs without sunshade - SW Florida). When driving the A/C efficiently maintains a comfortable cabin temperature at a lower fan speed.Very pleased with this purchase as using it creates a noticeable difference in comfort. For those with OCD - you might experience some slight ripples in the surface (see photo). I don't mind this fact at all. You can even see some scratches on the sunshade from my kids/dog. This R1S was purchased for use, not for display. I find the roof sunshade function delivered at 100%. Highly recommend!

Wasn’t an exact fit but so far is staying in place and doing the job.

A bit unweildy to install, but the fit is very good, leaving hardly any gap at all on four sides. It did come with an unusual foam tube around the shade which I didn't know how to use so I removed it so the brackets would fit. It covers the roof, looks decent, and I am guessing probably cuts down on the heat a little. Cabin still gets into the 120F range on a 90F day, so not sure how much it is helping but every little bit counts I suppose.

Fit well and blocked the sun. One of the small clips broke during installation and the only option was a return, which AMZ took care of. I would prefer they send a replacement clip as the lead time on this item was pretty long.

This keeps the sun from coming in so keeps the cabin cooler. Definitely need in the 100+ degree weather coming up this summer! Good fit and easy install!!

The media could not be loaded.  Doesn’t for the front R1S roof correctly. The back section fits well and stays in place. The front piece is too large by an inch or so, so much so that it buckles out of place and then blows down if you open the window. Dangerous

If you live in a colder area, these are amazing during the winter! They fit really well for an aftermarket product and they stay in place and do not fall down. I haven’t had to store them yet but it looks pretty easy and they should go back into the storage bag easily.
