VERY nice tripod with lots of features and options at a good price
I got this tripod for my Nikon 20x50 binoculars, not a spotting scope. I use the binoculars for a variety of types of viewing but mainly astronomical. This tripod head does not support equatorial mount but it’s easy enough to track the alt-az mount in binoculars. This tripod is fairly sturdy and stable, though a stabilizing weight is required for the tallest viewing ranges. This tripod comes with more accessories than I can use – I can see using the second hot-plate and the cell-phone adapter, but I do not shoot so I’m not sure what I can use the V-yoke for. The articulating rubber feet are ball-joint mounted on the legs, and the pan, tilt, and turn movements are easy and smooth. All of the pieces, parts, and components seem high quality, well-formed and have a nice finish. I wish it were lighter, but then you would lose your stability. This tripod is so good that I now plan to use it during the upcoming solar eclipse – not for viewing the eclipse itself, but for sighting the planets and the Pons-Brooks comet near Jupiter DURING the eclipse. All five naked-eye planets will be well-positioned in the sky to be seen without aid, but only Jupiter and Venus (and possibly) Saturn should be easy to spot. The comet itself will require the binoculars and but will be conveniently located near Jupiter and this tripod will serve as mount for the binos. The included carry case is also good. The seams are straight and well-sewn, and the zipper is easy to slide in either direction. The material is medium-duty rubber-backed nylon, so it is also waterproof. The ONLY drawback to this entire tripod set is in the case [or, rather, NOT in the case...]: there is no separate pocket or pouch to contain all the various smaller accessory parts. I have a spare one so I’m good, except that there really isn't room inside the case for that, either. The price is good, probably great. We’ll see how long it lasts, but I am very impressed so far. And you know the saying, on a scale of 1 star to 5 stars, it’s a 6 star!!

Just the Facts: DAPENG Spotting Scope Tripod Review
Decided to switch things up with a new tripod for my outdoor gear, and this DAPENG model caught my eye. This tripod is versatile—it works with everything from cameras to cell phones and even telescopes. The 61-inch height is a plus for anyone who needs a bit of extra reach without sacrificing stability. The setup was straightforward, and the build quality felt dependable for regular use in the field. The V Yoke stand is a nice touch, especially handy for stable shooting, whether hunting or snapping photos. The included travel bag and phone holder are useful extras, not just afterthoughts. They thought about what someone might need when they're out and about. The only hiccup might be the weight; it's not the lightest option out there, but it's manageable. For the price, it's hard to complain—gets the job done without breaking the bank. If you need a reliable tripod that can handle a variety of equipment, this could be the way to go.

It was compatible ☺️
Didn't think it would work with the astronomical telescope but it did, very pleased with that. It's sturdy lite weight and easy to use.
