Bent axles require fine-tuning adjustment, so this product includes our "Easy Turn" Screw Driver slot in the axle head to easily turn them with a screw driver. These axles are made from Pinewood Pro's Grooved Super Speed Axles.Axles are machined and not from the Official Kit so most Scout rules do not allow these axles....check your rules! Use Pinewood Pro's bent official polished axles.These axles are typically used to adjust the cant of the rear axles on your pinewood derby car so your rear wheels migrate towards the nail head rather than the car body. This technique reduces friction. They can also be used to create a rail rider car. Meh!
It was exactly what I ordered, but our car still didn’t place. Even with well distributed weights and graphite, etc. Some of the cars that placed didn't have any of the recommended modifications I found on YouTube. Lol. Oh well, it was still fun.

Not BSA regulation, but otherwise good.
We weren't aware at race time, but these axles do not pass the magnet test. My son was disqualified after his car won every race. We didn't know about the rule, but it's there. SO ... for him it will be next time - same body design with bent BSA axles. Other than the axles not being made of the correct materials, the bent axles make the car faster no doubt.

CREME DE LA CREME PWD nail - Make sure troop rules allow these things!! They will give you the edge!!!
CREME DE LA CREME PWD nails. Use with caution as some troop rules may not allow the slotted head. If the rules don't say you can't, then it's legal. Highly polished, grooved nail body and tapered head. Allows for more "MORE GRAPHITE" use an 99% alcohol and graphite to make a paste to pack the notch in the nail and also in the axel and hub. The alcohol will evaporate and you'' be left with a nice graphite coating!!!

Great time saver!
I’ve been polishing and bending my axles for years. This year I was crunched for time so I bought these. They worked great. The slot to turn them made adjusting super easy.

Worked perfectly for a three wheel style of car. Easy to rotate to get the wheels in the perfect position.
